  • "There was a fire in an upstairs apartment and we had to be evacuated. We stood in the cold for ten minutes. When we went back in we assumed we would get offered complimentary desert or maybe have something taken off of our bill. Neither happened. We went down to the hookah lounge and Phanny was our server. She was super friendly, fast, explained how everything worked. She was the saving grace of the evening. My friends and I agreed that we would return because of Phanny."

  • "Everything was good Except the service, we was waiting for the food over an hour. Also when we came into the restaurant there was a guy he was unfriendly at all. He tried to get rid of us We had a reservation at 9 for 2 people, but we came early so he told us we have to wait for 20-25 min we agreed then after 30 min he asked us "what are u waiting for?" with a frown face this was so irritating... I ignored him and talked to the girl who was standing next to him.. I told her everything.. Then the girl came and told us that our table would be ready in 5 min..."

For a regular sized guy, I couldn't really fit my legs under the table to slide my chair in.. I will definitely be back for the food though, just might have to sit at the bar."

  • "We had not visited the restaurant in a few years and found the new menu somewhat limited and three out of four of our meals were poor in quality and preparation. I had lamb chops which were the texture of rubber balls and over cooked. The room was noisy and it took a long time to get appetizers. We took friends as a gift and we were embarrassed by the evening."

  • "The decor in this restaurant is amazing. We first ordered drinks that were just amazing. I'd go back just for drinks alone based on those! We ordered some "extras" off menu that were a delicious start to what turned out to be a pretty fantastic, well spiced, variety filled series of food. We had a lactose-intolerant child with us and the waiter very quickly said he'd take care of him for dessert as both options were loaded with milk products. He additionally recalled the lactose intolerance on his own and left cheese off the salad! We had one meal issue where the fish was over cooked, they recooked it but it was still not right. The manager came out and righted it for us and we assured him we'd definitely be back!"

  • "I was in town looking for someplace different to join some colleagues for dinner and drink. This place was definitely different but the food was excellent and the service very good once you get past the Host / Hostess stand. The only drawback was they advertised belly dancing at 7 pm. We asked several times and did not receive an answer before departing at 7:30. No worries though, if you enjoy an after dinner smoke, you can adjourn to the bar downstairs and have a cigar or hookah. Very lively place. I will definitely return when I’m back in town."

  • "Tangierino is by far one of my favorite restaurants. Walking through the doors you are lead through a series of twist and turns of tables and walls adorned with vibrant colors and fabrics, reminiscent of a Moroccan bazaar. Once seated, we truly feel transported under the canopied table as Moroccan music plays in the background. As the menus were handed to each of us, we quickly noticed a variety of new world and old world dishes. I immediately gravitated towards old world and ordered the lamb couscous, an amazing concoction of gastronomic flavors, texture and aromas."

  • "No really, it's like your tastebuds just arrived at some exotic destination unlike anywhere they've been to before! Well, maybe all of your senses. When you first walk in, the smokeyness from the hooka lounge downstairs greets you and it's not great if you don't like the smell of smoke (like me), but don't let this discourage you. Two more steps and you're int a beautifully decorated room with diaphanous curtains draped around tables and couches. A moroccan chandelier glows from the ceiling and once you are seated, your eyes dart from one enticing dish to the next on the menu. You don't even have to worry about potentially choosing "the wrong dish" here as long as you enjoy flavorful food. Every dish I ordered was amazing!"

Kept feeling rushed out toward the end of our meal, when three different staff came over within 2 minutes to ask if they could clear our plates (after we told the first two "no", we assumed we'd be left alone for at least five minutes to finish our meal and drinks). Food and drinks were very good, and the bar downstairs was a fun end to the night. We'll be going back soon!"

  • "The restaurant never seated our party after we waited 1h 15m. We arrived promptly at our 8pm reservation time and were told that they didn't have a table available, but they had handed out checks at several tables. We would just need to wait at the bar. 30 minutes passed so we checked in with the hostess. Sorry, nothing available but it would be only a few more minutes. Nothing again at 8:45, 9pm, and 9:15 pm. Two other parties were waiting for over 45 minutes and were just as frustrated as we were. 1. They wouldn't give us a reasonable estimate of how long it would take to get seated 2. No manager ever came over to talk to us or apologize for the wait 3. Expected a comp'ed drink or app while we were waiting at the bar. Didn't happen."

We was a party of 6, I had originally requested a cabana, upon arriving we were not seated at the cabana, however, hostess did offer us the cabana at a later point which we declined. The food was good, our server was outstanding. We brought a birthday cake and the server served it to us in plates, which was very nice of the server. We had planed to visit the lounge after dinner, we were dissapointed to learn that the lounge was at full capacity, they requested we put our name on a waiting list which was a bit of a let down after a great dinner. But shortly after we were told that seating was avail for us which was great."

  • "I drove 45 minutes to get to this restaurant as a surprise for my husband. I looked ahead at the menu and belly dancing schedule before making our reservation. The website states they dance at 7:30 and 9:30 every night. This is not true. From what we were told after waiting for an hour for the dancer to begin, was that they sometimes don't show up if the restaurant and/or bar are not busy. The dancer did finally show up and a very nice employee came to let us know she was there and would be dancing but an hour and a half later still no dancing. I spent quite a bit of money on food and drinks to be so disappointed."

  • "Menu is split between traditional Moroccan and more modern fusion; we ordered from the modern side and were delighted with everything, eggplant was particularly impressive both smoked in an app and crispy in a main. Service was outstanding, attentive without being pushy or intrusive. Definitely glad we had reservations, even for an early dinner, it filled up quickly. Biggest drawback was that our two-top was a little cramped. Started quiet, but later music got loud (and there was a belly dancer)."

The wait staff was nice and attentiveThey served a pre fixe menu for $75/pp. I called ahead to reserve a table with a couch, but when I arrived they didn't have one available. They scrambled and sat us at a regular table. The purpose of choosing this restaurant was for the romantic and unique experience, but they failed to deliver after confirming my request when I arranged it. I'm disappointed and don't feel I received the value I expected."

  • "I had such a wonderful dining experience here! My friend and I sat under a canopy of beautiful fabric on comfy couches. The lighting and noise level was perfect. The food came promptly, and was so delicious (very flavorful!), and all the servers were very attentive. The food (in tagines) came while my friend was in the bathroom and I was bummed that she was going to miss the uncovering of the food. My waitress came by and told the food runner to leave the covers so my friend could get the full effect. It made such a difference! I also inquired about the belly dancer a couple of times and she made sure to let me know when she had arrived and when she was about to be performing. It was such a perfect dining experience."

  • "Service was polite and attentive but incredibly rushed. Our wine, appetizers, and entrees were all served within a 20-25 minute time frame. The soup and short ribs were tasty, but we barely had time to finish them before our plates were whisked away for the next course. Instead of feeling relaxed and able to enjoy the unique ambience and experience, we felt as though we were at a fast-food chain restaurant trying to turn tables as quickly as possible. Such a disappointment."

  • "I absolutely loved this restaurant! I have never had Moraccan food before, and this was the best first experience I could have had. My fiance and I had booked a reservation for 7pm on my birthday because the belly dancing show began at 7:30pm (perfect timing). The signature Tangierino Sangria was delicious as was all of the food. Be sure to get anything with lamb! They cook it superbly, where the meat practically melts in your mouth. The service was wonderful, very attentive and accomodating. All in all, fantastic experience!"

  • "I can't say enough good things about Tangerinos.I've been there 5 or 6 times & it never disappoints. On our most recent trip there were 2 of us. We ordered the lamb in filo, braised short rib, scallops & tuna tartar (I dream about this stuff) for apps then split the seared tuna for our entree & the flourless chocolate cake & creme brulee for dessert. The food is always cooked perfectly. The staff is friendly & accommodating. The noise level makes it an exciting place but it is also very romantic depending on where you sit, & the staff is accommodating to this with the appropriate notification. My only complaint is that there are so many items on the menu that I get full before I can order everything I want - an excuse to go back :)"

  • "My fiancé and I went for our Anniversary, it was a great night,had a cozy little booth with drapery all around us for our intament conversations, then we started off with a great wine list, then a very delicious dinner, the waitor recommended that we could have desert or a hooka downstairs in there little down stair lounge. We had a great time, definitely coming back."
