It was pretty great just walking in at 2AM after drinks downtown and seeing the restaurant still serving. Nothing like eating Glatt Kosher prime rib in the early hours of morning on the Upper West Side. The food was great and even the service was great at that hour. They also had a great live musician in the house. The lighting, music and mood was perfect for a romantic evening out! The food was delicious and the service attentive with out being disruptive. I highly recommend the sizzling prime rib steak it was the juiciest I've had!4/11/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I have been toMy wife and I have been to Talia's a few times and the food is generally very good. True, the prices are high, but kosher steak always is. However, on a recent night here, my wife ordered a ribeye and what came out of the kitchen was a leather-like piece of meat that tasted frozen (or maybe it had freezer burn?). It was inedible. But the waitress happily took it back and brought out a different cut without any fuss and the new plate was quite good. So, the response was great -- and the revised entree was great -- but I'm not sure why we got such a terrible steak in the first place. Overall, I recommend this restaurant, but maybe ask the server what is good/fresh that night. At these prices, everything should be outstanding the first time.1/1/0001 4:00:00 PM
