  • "We were in town for spring break and wanted to take the kids somewhere nice but they could enjoy. I searched out the hibachi selections in the area. Taki came to the top of the list. I was concerned at first as some reviews were complaining about the restaurants moving chefs around. Some had lost their favorite chef in the shake up. We arrived and seated with others around our grill. Our chef was Teddy. Teddy was great! Exactly what you want and expect from your hibachi chef. Fun to watch & great interaction. We all had our standard hibachi dishes. All were excellent! Would definitely recommend Taki. We have a Stix in our area and it was very comparable."

  • "The food was great, the cook/entertainment was amazing, the whole experience was exactly what I wanted. The ONLY issue I had was the reservation for a private room. I loved that I could make a complimentary one online. I missed the confirmation call, but called back nor more than 5 minutes later to confirm the reservation and revise the # of people. No one answered so I left a message. No one called me back. Two of my guests arrived before I did and asked the hostess where they would be sitting. She said "We called them about the reservation and no one called us back so we thought you were not coming". When I arrived and told the hostess we would be a smaller group she seemed annoyed and just sat us at wherever she wanted."

  • "The chef was very entertaining. It was my birthday and he made us all laugh the entire time. The food was good and well seasoned. The bartender Tianna makes a mean margarita. The server was pretty good. I would say the hostesses need some work. Be sure to make a reservation, they will turn you away if you want the hibachi side if not booked in advance. The hostess can be kind of jerks about it which is bad because the restaurant is losing business."

  • "2-3 times a month I take my family to Taki. Usually the food and service is outstanding. On Feb. 15 the service was horrendous. 20 minutes for a server to come over. The Hibachi guy starts cooking and is well into the meal before any drinks come out. The server failed to deliver my soda or appetizer. During the next hour we would not see the server again. Finally I grabbed one of the hostess and she finally brought my drink and appetizer out but by that time the steaks were ready. To top off the evening they messed up the fried ice cream for my 3 year olds birthday. If this poor service continues you'll be losing a lot of good customers. Not one staff member ever acknowledged a problem or apologized for the poor service."

  • "For my birthday my boyfriend made reservations.Once we arrived, we did have to wait an extra 10-15 mins for our habachi table.We decided to sit at the bar and grab a drink. The ambiance was really nice, and the bartender was very helpful in helping me choose a great plum wine. Once seated, our server introduced himself and began taking orders. He was very attentive during the night, and always making sure we were comfortable. But the best part of the night was the amazing show put on by our cook. He was AMAZING, funny, and easy going.And of course the food was to die for. I had the lobster and filet mignon. It was all so delicious. In all, it was a great night. I can't wait to go back."

  • "I feel they did not honor our reservation. We are business people. Getting a group together has its challenges. One of our 6 members was tied up with a client and running late. They refused to seat the 5 of us until the other person arrived. The restaurant was empty. They told us he would have to be seated separately when he arrived. Again, the restaurant was emtpy. Then they told us we'd better go ahead and be seated without a spot for him, because they were going to quit serving lunch within the hour. We made the executive decision to leave and go elsewhere."

  • "We had a group of 6. This I believe is why the waiter felt it would be ok to give us such poor service. He would get paid either way so why bother brining me a water. My boyfriends drink was empty serveral times. We were informed that we couldnt sit at the hibachi table next time unless half of our party was eating habachi. WE WILL NOT BE BACK. It was rude when we were ordering sushi that equalled or surpassed the cost of hibachi. Not to mention I was asked if we wanted to sit there before arriving and was NEVER informed that half our party needed to have habachi. The waiters that were working our were much better than he was, I asked him to come back we werent ready to order and he came back not a minute later."
