This is a man who has been to Tokyo and Korea numerous times in his life so it needed to be impressive. He likes sushi, I like ambiance. The night was a success. Up on the 29th floor just like the hip restaurants in Tokyo, the view was dynamic and the food was everything I had hoped for! The shrimp tempura with shots of saki was first on our taste pallets, followed by rainbow rolls, sea bass, garlic peppers, and my favorite, wood grilled lamb. Delicious! All in all, great place if you like dining in downtown. The cocktails are also the best I've ever had. The staff was extra helpful in making this last trip, which was a birthday dinner for my boyfriend, something really special. From the moment I called to confirm the reservation, to the their acceptance of the TravelZoo coupon for the Omakase Dinner for 2, to our servers, we were treated extremely well.
