Taj of India has set a new bar for dining experience in DC! The food was fresh and well prepared and the waiters were kind and super helpful. I've never had Indian food that good!!

Good food and not as overpriced
Good food and not as overpriced as places nearby. Staff is lovely, wanting to please. Had very enjoyable meal and will be back when in DC again.

Closest thing to a curry from UK
I booked this restaurant for my wife's ???? Birthday and had 12 people attending. The restaurant was very accommodating and looked after our every need including the early set up of balloons and allowing me to bring my own cake. Service was excellent and food was great. Being a Brit we are very accustomed to eating curry and I have to say it is the best Indian restaurant I have eaten at so far during my two years of living in the US.
