We dined with friends who are on a vegan diet, and this restaurant provided a wide range of very tasty choices. All of the vegetarian dishes were outstanding. The lamb korma was good as well, but my husband said it did not stand out from many other Indian restaurants. To the contrary, the daal was special, the aloo ghobi was the best cauliflower I ever tasted, the vegetable biryani was delightful. All in all, a terrific dinner, well served, and well-suited to vegans. We will definitely go again.

The best service of any DC restaurant I've visited. My favorite Indian food in the area! The Taj Thali special is great for two people to share; it's a good sample some of the restaurant's best dishes. Though the decorations are beautiful, they are a bit spare compared to some other Georgetown restaurants. However, the friendly, attentive waiters and quiet atmosphere create a happy ambience perfect for dates or meals with family and friends. Highly recommend.
