Taggia at FireSkyThe chef stole the showOur favorite wines were easy to find on the wine list including some wines I’ve wanted to try. The appetizers were disguised in a secret language that we didn’t have the decoder ring for, but our server knew what each thing meant. The Burrata was very sweet, alarmingly so, but since we had a light Riesling, we were OK. The Baccala fritters were the most amazing treat, do not pass these up. The Spaghettini was pure perfection, the sautéed cherry tomatoes burst with flavor making this dish a winner. The Halibut was slightly over cooked and dry but the sauce and fregole made me forget all about that. The best Tiramisu ever: perfectly sized serving encrusted in a ganache chocolate and served with hot chocolate tableside.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMMassimo DeFrancesca is greatMassimo DeFrancesca is an innovative Chef that specializes in modern Italian. She was very knowledgeable about the menu and explained everything with lots of " colorful" detail, almost like we could taste the dishes before they were presented.
The seafood risotto was to die for and the orata was very refreshing. We topped our evening off with your mouthwatering tiramisu that was presented with style.
We will be sure to return!4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMTaggia is a modern ItalianTaggia is a modern Italian restaurant. Massimo is a young innovative chef. Hostess is friendly. Waitors are attentive. The patio seating area is perfect. A great place for a great meal and a great evening.3/29/2013 12:00:00 AM
