Named after its owner, Tabrizi's offers modern Mediterranean and Middle Eastern Cuisine and a respectful array of wines. Chef-owner Michael Tabrizi has previously owned and operated the first Tabrizi's on South Charles street in the charming Federal Hill, where he introduced the first Mediterranean… restaurant to Baltimore in 1990 in an open kitchen concept. Combining casual Mediterranean elegance, an eclectic menu, intimate ambience and unparalleled service, Tabrizi's has been appreciated by the local media and many visitors as a true value for its dining experience. "other than the fantastic view of the harbor and the gorgeous weather that night (which they had nothing to do with), there is nothing positive to say about our experience. There was no host/hostess on duty that night--those duties were handled by a bartender who was woefully inadequate for the task. Would have set the table leaving a soiled, used cloth, if I hadn't insisted on a new one. Water, bread never served. Inattentive must be their motto. Never saw the waiter after he took our order. Check never came and we were literally walking by the waiter who smiled and asked how everything was when our conscience kicked in and we asked for the check. The lack if patrons on that beautiful night was telling..."

"We arrived early and were seated immediately, given a very nice table in the corner. The waitstaff was wonderful and absolutely friendly. All of the food was cooked to perfection and tasted amazing. It was a wonderfully romantic night out!"

"Went for restaurant week special and were very pleased. Sesame crusted tuna appetizer was a very generous portion, perfectly prepared with wasabi sauce on the side. Entrees of lamb kabob and beef tenderloin were perfectly cooked. Kabob was served over hummus and freshly baked pita was provided to go with the hummus. Our experienced waiter was attentive and always appeared at the right time. We will be back again soon to explore their regular menu which changes every few weeks."
