  • "We always go to the Table Mountain Grill and Cantina. Always satisfied. However, this night everything was just out of order. Was there a new cook in the kitchen? Meals were cold and just did not have any flavor. Very unusual for this place. We will go back and hope to have better food. Service was great!"

  • "Our server, Daniel, was great, good recommendations, comfortable manner and a nice sense of humor. The food was the best Mexican I have had in 50 years. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "It was a satisfying evening with former college buddies, several of whom had not seen one another in over 35 years. The menu offerings worked for everyone, service was competent & unobtrusive, and the location proved serendipitous with individuals coming from various directions needing to afterwards head to Winter Park, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Denver, etc. We were able to easily converse and renew friendships amidst pleasant surroundings and quality food."

  • "Altho the menu is changing ,so far, we really liked it. My husband tried the new version of the Seafood Del Mar or it's replacement and loved it. Sorry to see the "All the Ribs You Can eat" go. Would be nice if something green in the vegetable variety came with the main dish, Garlic Mashed Potato was good as usual. Would definitely return."

  • "This place is a nice location for a quiet booth with some so/so mexican food. Actually my dining partner thought their trout was amazing, so I must give credit for her dish. I ordered the shimp tacos, which were tasty but unfortunately cold. This is forgiveable because they were served with salsa and guac and slaw which were all cold accompaniements, but I'm always slightly annoyed when the shrimp are cold as well. I asked them to please heat up the shrimp but unfortunately it just turned into one big dried out unpleasant dish. This is partially my fault for being picky, but It would have been nice if they had served the dish warm, I think it must have gotten cold waiting for the hot trout. Anyway, service was so/so, food was good/bad.+&-"

  • "Prime rib was tough, trout came highly recommended and was delicious. Very loud noise level, wedding reception going on down the hall which didn't help with the noise level. Dessert was delicious!"

  • "Table Mountain Grille offers a good selection of southwest casual cuisine in comfortable setting with a decent by the glass wine selection and good selection of small craft beers. The best thing about the Grille is their consistency. We have never had a bad meal or poor service in years of eating here."

  • "We enjoyed our dinner very much. The food was delicious and our waiter was attentive and friendly. Great place for a more than casual meal that won't break the bank and in a pretty room"

  • "Consistently good food and service. I had the shrimp tacos which were great. We live in Golden and often go to the TMI for lunch. No surprises, always good."

  • "First visit to The Table Mountain Inn, but it won't be the last. The food was excellent. Party of three all had fish entrees (2 salmon;1trout)delicious! Highly recommend reservations."

  • "I had ordered the filet medium well and the waiter stated that might take a little extra time. We made it very clear we were in absolutely no rush. Might meal came with three burnt pieces of asparagus (clearly a garnish versus a side) and a rare filet. By the time my meal came back correctly everyone else was done."

  • "The restaurant has a prime rib special on Friday and Saturday nights and if you get there for their happy hour, you can have a fabulous meal and drinks for a reasonable price. My husband got the prime rib, which was very good and cooked to his medium rare liking. The salmon with beurre blanc sauce and rice was also very good. We like to visit the annual Golden Arts festival, then get a reservation at this great nearby venue. They also have a nice selection of 'skinny' maragaritas, which was a welcomed surprise."

  • "Table Mountain Inn is truly a neighborhood gem with a wonderful atmosphere, excellent service and a deep rooted tradition that lives on. The food was fantastic and the staff was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone either living in the area or visiting from out of town. You can't go wrong."

  • "The other diners thoroughly enjoyed their elk burgers and bison pot roast. I ordered the scallops and shrimp. The shrimp was tough and small, the server did bring me some fresh shrimp which were much better and not overcooked."

  • "Food and drinks were average, but good place to meet a friend from out of town who was staying in Golden on business. Service was friendly and good. Better than meeting at a more sterile chain restaurant."

  • "Absolutely one of our faves!! A MUST HAVE is the flaming asadero cheese! All of the food is grand! I have many different food sensitivities and for the most part everyone here is considerate, accepting, accommodating and friendly about these issues. Every once in awhile we have a waiter that is not so much and makes it obvious. If you are Coke drinker beware they serve Pepsi! At brunch you have to ask for the yummy cinnamon rolls (WHAT>?), it's brunch bring these goodies to every table, don't put this on the customer to ask for, what if it's their first time and they don't know about them? GIVE THEM to every one!"

  • "The hostess tried seating us in a booth that was to small for me to fit into and walked away. We requested a table from the server that came with water. She was wonderful and made the accommodation for us. Our server was wonderful and did a great job! The food tasted good, however, the portion for the price seemed high. For what were charged, each person in our group received one very small cinammon roll, which was not freshly baked. My suggestion is that at this price point and for ambience, it would be best to have a basket of fresh-baked pastries at the table It is unlikely that we'll be back for Sunday brunch again."

  • "We have eaten here many times, and this was the first time the meal was so-so. Out of the for of us, one was good, two were ok and one was unacceptable. Our waiter was very good, and we usually have very good meals here. All in all, we will eat here again, hopefully the kitchen was just having an off night."

  • "Great place to take out of town guests for a taste of western ambience. Great food, the corn muffins are a favorite. Wide variety of tasty margaritas!"

  • "Our book group frequently chooses Table Mountain Inn's Cantina Grill for our meetings and the site for events. We have never had a bad experience there--the staff is wonderful, just attentive enough but not hovering; the food is consistently excellent and they are always kind enough to accommodate requests for a little more or a little less. Always a really great experience."

  • "I was disappointed in my entree - it sounded so good on the menu. The "cherry sauce" tasted like bottled brown gravy with some dried cherries in it. The chicken breast was just breaded and fried and the mashed potatoes were just dry and blah. I added a side of grilled asparagus and it was so salty, couldn't eat it. My friend had the skirt steak (I think that's what it was caled) and it was nothing special; same blah, dried mashed potatoes. The two men had the ribs and they said the sauce was very good. We decided to go else where for dessert. Our waiter was very good (Dan, I think), but service was slow. I think they must have been short handed."

  • "Due to our bad experience in 2008 & 2009, I was hesitant about taking out-of-town guests for dinner. However, we decided to give it another try and the food and customer service was far better! Our waiter was awesome (wish I could remember his name) was polite, outgoing, knowledgeable about the menu and had good suggestions. Ambience is nice with a southwest theme. The huge margaritas were great, as well as the hand mashed guacamole and cornbread muffins. Guests said the Pinon Cherry Chicken and Slow Roasted Chicken Enchiladas were delicious. My fish tacos were good, but the fish was a tad bit overcooked, reason for 4 stars. Dessert was very good. Overall, it was a very nice evening and will come back."

  • "We have been eating here for years. Our favorite time to come is the first Saturday of the Month when the Classic Cars drive up and down the main street, almost like on parade. This restaurant is always busy - make a reservation first. It is always nice to sit outside but the ambiance inside is very nice too. This particular visit we came for Brunch which we have never done before. Delicious! You are served FREE baked fresh from the oven cinnamon rolls while you wait for your food. The Sparkling Mimosas are only $5! The Banana Bread French Toast is melt in your mouth - no syrup is even needed! The Golden Omelette is amazing, especially served with a side of Red Chile sauce! Absolutely the best hash browns ever! Service is always great."

  • "We live in Boulder but visit the Table Mountain Grill and Cantina occasionally because we like the menu and the ambiance. This time it was a treat for out-of-town visitors. What was new this time was our discovery that there is extra parking across the street."
