A word from Table & Main
Table & Main serves cuisine that is "Simple, Seasonal, and Southern" in a beautifully restored homestead on Canton Street in the heart of historic Roswell, Georgia.

We open for dinner at 5pm Tuesday-Sunday, and we happily accept reservations for our Main Dining Room and our Family Table (8-10ppl). Our patio, porch and Front Dining Room are available on a "first come-first served" basis for walk-in guests.

We look forward to serving you in the dining room!

  • "I enjoyed dinner here on Friday night with my sister and brother who was visiting from out of town. Our server was wonderful - knowledgeable about the menu, extremely warm,friendly and efficient. The food was fantastic. We ordered the sugar snap peas w/mint dipping sauce as an appetizer - so fresh and delicious. Since it was Lent, we all ordered fish dishes - Scallops, Trout and Catfish. All were delicious. The atmosphere is always nice and cozy. You must make reservations ahead to get in here! Lola"

  • "Food was great as usual! We like to eat outside so the time of year is returning to do so. This time we ate inside and it was pretty quiet in the back rooms! Nice view of their blooming 150 wisteria and patio. Food was very good as always! I had their famous fried chicken and a side of beets. Service was outstanding! It is my top 2 restaurants around greater Roswell/Alpharetta!"

  • "I went for a group dinner with clients and LOVED everything we tried. We split a few appetizers and loved them all! The fried chicken was juicy and spectacular. The rabbit was incredibly delicate and so flavorful. I could eat the fried green tomato appetizer every day. The service was great from hostess to bar to wait staff. We had no trouble hearing our conversation even though the place was packed. The outdoor terrace looked so inviting - I'll definilty go back to give it a try."

The wait staff is outstanding--it seemed the minute we commented to each other that we wanted something, someone would magically appear with exactly what we needed...we didn't even have to ask. The food is spectacular, in particular the Hogs n' Quilts...very clever. Definitely have added Table & Main to my list of go-to's on a regular basis."

  • "The food was really delicious. We had the Hogs and Quilts and She Crab Soup, which were terrific! We ordered cornbread, but it was dry and flavorless. Our entrees were the grouper and shrimp and grits. All very good. Our server however, was very disappointing. Very friendly but not knowledgable or helpful. She could not give descriptions of the dishes we asked about, just said how good or popular they were. I have been so excited to try T&M and the service experience has overridden the food when I think about returning."

  • "There is a small menu but good choice and food was excellent. Well presented , good portions( except chicken which they warned us was large , so we did not order), waitress was very helpful without being overbearing. Every table was occupied on a Tuesday evening. Patio looks as if it will be great in warmer weather. Wine list and bourbon list are extensive. We will go back. Only downside is parking. The parking lot is small and awkward to get into."

  • "It's refreshing when you can enjoy an incredible food experience, combined with incredible service(no attitude), and a cool atmosphere. The evening was seamless with lots to choose on the menu and specials. The appetizers, sides, and entrees were delicious. Cool refreshing cocktails to start and a neat homemade whoopee pie plate to finish. The portion sizes were perfect and these place should be a regular dining experience as it wasn't overpriced for what you received. On top of all of this the owner was present and working along with his incredible team! Make Table and Main a MainStay!"

I usually order the "Shrimp and Grits" and believe it is the best I've ever tasted -- including restaurants in Savannah, Charleston and St. Simons. Have sampled many other dishes as well -- "Hogs and Quilts" excellent also. Owner, a native of Roswell, takes his restaurants seriously and personally, but never serious. Always a friendly, relaxed, casual atmosphere. Can't wait for better weather to dine outdoors."

The staff members coming in and out of the kitchen (and there were so many staff members) were completely distracting from actually enjoying the food. I would only recommend T&M for 2 to 4 people but there's better food elsewhere."

  • "Food was OK, but not great. As hard as it is to get a reservation there, I was expecting something on the order of Canoe. I went to the bar to get a drink prior to dinner. I ordered and Old Fashioned. Average at best, even though it's on the list of their signature cocktails. They never muddled it and as near as I could tell there were no bitters. $15 for one drink. YIKES! Portions at dinner were somewhat small. I asked if they had any bread. They brought me what amounted to burnt toast made from French Bread. I had to ask for butter and I think the request shocked the waitress, like, "Why would anyone put that on bread?""

  • "My husband and I had eaten here once before and it was pretty good. Not great, but worth another try.The menu is varied and creative with specials to compliment the standard fare. My fish was a special entree and was cooked perfectly, but it was served over a bed of shaved carrots and parsnips. The carrots were fine, but the parsnips were not cooked enough and were woody. The sides we ordered, Brussels sprouts and carrots were horribly overcooked and very mushy. My husband had the shrimp and grits and he did not care for the grits, but I have to say that perhaps because they are stone ground, the consistency was a little lumpy. Service was friendly, but our meal was a little rushed. Overall, we don't think we'll be back."

Had to ask for complimentary cheese straw to go with our cocktails; drinks almost done before "appetizer" arrived, which wasn't worth waiting for anyway. Pork not cooked as asked, and dessert so bland that it wasn't worth the calories. We spent over $200 for drinks, dinner, and wine and it was totally forgettable. Sad, as i used to love that place....no more."

  • "Table & Main is a quaint little house turned bar/restaurant that specializes in Souther cuisine. It is walking distance to downtown Roswell. The atmosphere is okay…the bar is nice…service was good. Still I wouldn't go back. The food was okay. Nothing special. The she-crab soup which is award winning was underwhelming and the beer batter broccoli with pimento cheese sauce was horrible. It's pricey and there are just too many other places that are great. Go for a drink at the bar and skip the food. The bartenders are great! Free parking is a plus in downtown Roswell."

  • "I think I came into this dinning experience with high expectations but beyond the great service, the food was mediocre at best. This is a little disappointing when you are paying a hefty price for what should be some fantastic and creative food. The menu was disappointing in which nothing really popped out at me, also most of the food was breaded and fried which doesn't work for somebody like me who is gluten free. I ordered the special, which was a weird concoction of pork belly, scallops, and shaved ham, on top resting of sauteed spinach and a carrot puree. I guess at the end I felt the food was overrated and that I for sure wouldn't be coming back here again. I've had a much better foodgasm dining at Salt Factory down the road, or NOCA."

  • "This is my third time at Table and Main and the food has been excellent each time. I will say I was spoiled on our first visit as our server was absolutely incredible (wish I remembered her name). Knew every ingredient of the menu and could recommend cocktails/wines to pair perfectly with each dish. She had a true passion for the food and it was evident that she truly enjoyed her job and believed in the product. The two servers I've had since have not been quite so energetic and knowledgeable but were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to going back when the weather is warmer so I can sit outside on the patio."
