We took my mother here to celebrate her 80th birthday. It was a perfect meal. The waiter was very pleasant and helpful, and the food was delicious. It was our first time dining here, and we will definitely be back. The menu had many options and was reasonably priced. The portions were good and we enjoyed sampling each others' selections. We sat inside, but the outside seating looked inviting so we will try that next time. I enjoyed the overall ambiance and everything about the evening. Thank you for making the celebration even more special!

T&M claims to be on a par with your grandmother's cooking; and ups the ante on their fried chicken. My farm-reared grandmother was queen of the fresh fryer and would have been hard-pressed to beat T&M's half-chicken preparation. T&M holds true to its Simple-Seasonal-Southern mantra. Perhaps a little too simple. The perfectly executed flavors might be expected on a luncheon blue-plate special. But, for a white napkin, fine dining establishment, it would be nice if "sinful" or "seductive" showed up. The skirt steak special was very good, the fried chicken was exceptional, the scallops were smallish and a bit fishy and gritty. The corn-squash beignet appetizer special were raw in the center. Desserts were OK. A solid B+, but not nirvana.

Basically my wife and I have "checked the box" next to this restaurant, as in "OK, now we've been there, where should we try next"?. Yes, it's a quaint little setting, and every member of the staff was perfectly attentive, but based on reviews and the modest advance-planning required to book our visit, we would've expected our food choices to be more uniformly exceptional. This was not the case. The bibb lettuce salad and crab soup were both quite good, but our main courses were disappointing. My wife's snapper dish was unimaginative, even bland. I had the fried chicken, and as a life-long southerner, would not have felt compelled to give it the blue ribbon at a country fair. The whole experience was about a "7" on a 1-10 scale.

Let's start with the dessert and work backwards...the date cake with a bourbon toffee sauce and homemade buttermilk ice cream dictated the rest of the meal. My friend and I enjoyed a delicious seasonal appetizer each and that dessert and we were set! Fantastic! As always, the patio was beautiful, the service was outstanding and the food delicious. There's nothing not to like about this restaurant. Nothing!

Went with a group and had a great time. Our waitress was absolutely outstanding. Meatballs, fried okra and buttermilk salad were ordered for appetizers. Meatballs were the best thing. Okra good, salad fair. Fried chicken entree was good, but not fantastic. The gas station fries were fantastic! Snapper was good, but not outstanding. Needed some more flavor. Our companions loved the scallops and the shrimp and grits. Dessert was Derby pie and it was good, but again, not wow! For the price, we expected more.

Ate there at 5 pm and loved the décor and was quiet while there. I thoroughly enjoyed the kale salad and the scallops but I would serve bread with the meal. The fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and barbecue sliders were very good. The shrimp and grits and fish entrée were also enjoyed by us. The fried okra was disappointing. We had no desserts so I cannot comment on that. My only recommendation would be to expand the menu or include less fried items. The wine list is extremely expensive. I would go back again.

Brought family from out of town who were blown away by how great the food was. Sat outside in patio which was perfect and fantastic service. Decided on ordering from the Veggie menu for starters, was going to get three for the table and waiter suggested just ordering the four veggie entree for the same or less money than the three individually. All were great. Added the meatballs which were light an delicious. All entrees were great but fried chicken is unmatched. Great desserts and of course, the selection in bourbons is extensive. Can;t miss with Table and Main!

This cozy restaurant in an old house on Roswell's busy Canton Street is a real find. Food is heavily Southern influenced but with a thoroughly modern presentation. If you have hard time getting enough greens, try the crispy kale salad with Benton bacon and a creamy buttermilk dressing. YUM!! All the dishes show real imagination and a creative combining of ingredients. We loved the peach dessert---peaches enclosed in a dumpling like envelope that our server accurately described as tasting like a Krispy Kreme donut, with heavenly blackberry ice cream. Would have loved a gallon of that to go!! Parking is a bit tricky so best to come early. Outdoor dining looks romantic and fun with fireplace and fans for ambiance and comfort. A winner!

I loved this restaurant so I brought my parents who visited from out of town. This visit was disappointing, food-wise. The service was excellent. My Dad did not like the burger. The shrimp and grits had the tails on so my mother was not excited about that. I ordered the scallops and the dish was like an appetizer portion. The only person at the table who really enjoyed the meal had the fried chicken. I love their new restaurant, Osterria Matone, much better.

We had dinner at Table and Main last week. We had heard very good comments about the restaurant, so couldn't wait to try it. The menu offers a wide variety of southern favorites with upscale touches. We started with delicious cornbread and then had the trout special which was so delicious we finished every bite. The side of fried green tomatoes were lightly fried and stuffed with pimiento cheese. For dessert we shared the bread pudding which was different than any I've had before, but very good. The service was very friendly, prompt and helpful. We have already recommended this restaurant to friends and family and will absolutely be back!

This was a first time visit to this establishment. The food was good (Scallops). The issues were that the server recited a list of specials that took at least 4 minutes to complete---really? I lost track after about the fourth or fifth special (there were more after that!!!)could not believe it went on that long. Then she seemed to hover around clumsily waiting for us to order. And- the temperature in the main room was very low. They had to adjust the thermostat several times -my date and the woman at the opposite table were actually given table cloths to wrap up in it was so cold. Topped it off by bringing me the wrong check and someone else's credit card! Given the price point for the evening this was more than a bit over the top.

After much hype from Erik Ericsson and others in the Roswell area about Table and Main we were a little disappointed. We had family in from our of town and wanted a special place for dinner and went to Table and Main. Food was good, nice upscale version of southern cuisine. Shrimp was a bit small on the shrimp and grits. Service lacked a little, the waitress was very nice, i just think she was overwhelmed. The place was packed, too much so, very noisy and hard to a conversation. Wine list was a limited. We had to remind our server about out side dishes they came almost at the end of the meal. The check needed to be split between two cards and that came back wrong. Might try again, not sure

We arrived on time for our 7:45 reservations but Table & Main kept us waiting 45 minutes for our table regardless. Once we were seated they were generous to provide some free appetizers for our trouble but the preservation plate was already sold out. One of us got fried chicken which was great but the shrimp from the shrimp and grits dinners were small. The inside of the restaurant was noisy. I would have preferred to sit outside, which looked nice, but we were hungry (due to late seating) and didn't want to wait anymore for an outside table to be available. Overall, I was expecting more based on the reputation. I will likely not return.

Finally able to get here and was disappointed...entrees were good catfish and fried chicken, however the shrimp was tough...cornbread was good...the sides of collards and beans were loaded down with salt, so much so that we all left with salty taste still in our mouths...our biggest complaint was the service... the hostess was nice and sat us right away:however our server was too hovering and we had to ask her twice not to take our plates away...which she did as soon as one of our party had just put her fork down...she seemed to be in a rush since it was close to closing time...just expected more out of A $125.00 dinner.

Best fried chicken I've had! The service was great as well. Went for our anniversary and we both loved everything about it. Also, we had a reserved table, and the party in front of us took a bit long due to a birthday, so we had to wait to be seated after our reservation, so they brought us complementary corn bread. I don't like corn bread, but this was delicious, especially the bacon jalapeno butter! Great experience!

Food was very good. We ordered the fried okra for an appetizer. It was amazing. Husband ordered the pork chop...fantastic. I ordered the fried chicken...ditto. Daughter ordered the lamb. It was good, but the portion size was very small and the vegetables that came with it really didn't do anything to compliment it. None of us would order that one again. Desserts were good...toffee pudding and pound cake, but not anything to write home about. Pound cake was a bit dry for my taste. My main problem was the noise level. The party seated next to us was EXTREMELY loud. With the tables being so close, we couldn't converse with each other or even hear our server when she was describing items on the menu. Don't know the solution for that.

Looking forward to dining here--but was disappointed in the food being so dry. We had 6 in our party and everyone except me said their food was on the dry side. I had the shrimp & grits. It was delicious, but thinking back the shrimp was dry. Someone at another table sent their fish back saying it was overcooked. The served the fish with the skin on--which I don't like either.
