A word from Table & Main
Table & Main serves cuisine that is "Simple, Seasonal, and Southern" in a beautifully restored homestead on Canton Street in the heart of historic Roswell, Georgia.

We open for dinner at 5pm Tuesday-Sunday, and we happily accept reservations for our Main Dining Room and our Family Table (8-10ppl). Our patio, porch and Front Dining Room are available on a "first come-first served" basis for walk-in guests.

We look forward to serving you in the dining room!

  • "Finally able to get here and was disappointed...entrees were good catfish and fried chicken,however the shrimp was tough...cornbread was good...the sides of collards and beans were loaded down with salt, so much so that we all left with salty taste still in our mouths...our biggest complaint was the service... the hostess was nice and sat us right away:however our server was too hovering and we had to ask her twice not to take our plates away...which she did as soon as one of our party had just put her fork down...she seemed to be in a rush since it was close to closing time...just expected more out of A $125.00 dinner."

  • "This is my favorite restaurant in Roswell. It has a broad menu that is great for meat eaters to vegetarians. I always get the vegetable plate since they are the only place in town that has 6-8 good vegetable choices. I highly recommend it to anyone."

  • "Best fried chicken I've had! The service was great as well. Went for our anniversary and we both loved everything about it. Also, we had a reserved table, and the party in front of us took a bit long due to a birthday, so we had to wait to be seated after our reservation, so they brought us complementary corn bread. I don't like corn bread, but this was delicious, especially the bacon jalapeno butter! Great experience!"

  • "Food was very good. We ordered the fried okra for an appetizer. It was amazing. Husband ordered the pork chop...fantastic. I ordered the fried chicken...ditto. Daughter ordered the lamb. It was good, but the portion size was very small and the vegetables that came with it really didn't do anything to compliment it. None of us would order that one again. Desserts were good...toffee pudding and pound cake, but not anything to write home about. Pound cake was a bit dry for my taste. My main problem was the noise level. The party seated next to us was EXTREMELY loud. With the tables being so close, we couldn't converse with each other or even hear our server when she was describing items on the menu. Don't know the solution for that."

  • "Looking forward to dining here--but was disappointed in the food being so dry. We had 6 in our party and everyone except me said their food was on the dry side. I had the shrimp & grits. It was delicious, but thinking back the shrimp was dry. Someone at another table sent their fish back saying it was overcooked. The served the fish with the skin on--which I don't like either."

  • "First and most importantly - best fried chicken I've had. The closest thing to this is at Greenwood's down the street, but I think Table & Main is better. Sides were great (blue cheese bacon potato salad, pimento cheese stuffed fried green tomatos,) appetizers (cornbread, she-crab soup) were excellent, too. Cocktails were just okay, wine list seemed decent but I'm no expert. Our waitress was excellent - knowledgeable, enthusiastic, friendly, not snobby like a lot of waitstaff has become these days. Food service itself was very slow - so much so that the waitress expressed surprise (apps and entrees.) Either way, I would recommend it to anyone looking for quality ingredients at fair menu prices. EXTREMELY loud in this place, though."

  • "This was many of our groups' first visit to Table & Main. We are so glad we chose you guys! Everything was amazing! The drinks, the food, the service! From the moment we stepped in, we felt welcome and special! The hostesses and hosts were so friendly and warm. Our server (Webster) was excellent! He welcomed all of and quickly adjusted to the 8 different personalities at the table. He has a great sense of humor, very funny, .. just a great server! Keep him! Now back to the best part: THE FOOD! Your take on traditional southern with a 'twist' was amazing. The fried chicken? OMG! Gave my Mom's a run for it's money! (Sorry Mom!)"

  • "I dined with a girlfriend and we ordered the two items that are always on the menu year-round...the fried chicken and the shrimp and grits. The chicken was excellent...moist inside and crunchy outside...just like I like it. I had the mac and cheese on the side, and it was unexceptional. Velveeta just doesn't cut it in my opinion. The grits were creamy and wonderful, and the shrimp had a great flavor. We'll be back!"

  • "I must be missing something. I chose this restaurant based solely on its stellar reviews. Maybe the three of us went on an off night, but none of us were impressed with the menu or the food. I had the scallops - they were pretty good and the presentation was nice, but the carrot puree was so sweet I couldn't eat it. Overall the dish was good, not great. Others in the group has the same reactions to their meals. The place is really cute and the atmosphere is nice, and apparently it's doing quite well based on the number of diners, but for us, it was just OK."

  • "We celebrated my wife's birthday at Table & Main with our son on June 10. The service was outstanding and the food very good. Our son said the fried chicken was the best he ever had while my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our shrimp and grits. The room was a little noisy due to some large groups but tolerable. Limited parking is an issue, especially on a rainy evening. All in all we would recommend this restaurant."

  • "We were last at Table & Main in the fall and while I was sad they did not have the goat ravioli on the menu, everything was wonderful. We split a she-crab soup as well as the meatloaf meatballs for appetizers. So good! I had the red snapper, seasoned perfectly and with the pickled shrimp, English peas, shaved carrots and parsnip. Hubby had their famous fried chicken. Now we see why it is so famous! It was juicy on the inside, crisp and flavorful on the outside, just the way my grandmother would make it if only she were a Southern chef! The mac and cheese side was terrific too. Our server Tyler was great. "

  • "After all the buzz about Table & Main and hearing how long it takes to secure a reservation, I had high expectations for our dining experience. Unfortunately, on the night we ate there the food was okay but nothing I would recommend strongly to others and nothing I would return for in the future. We were rushed from the moment we arrived by a staff eager to close for the night and in the end we and our guests felt resentful. Perhaps we simply chose the wrong night to eat at the restaurant; as I said, there is a lot of buzz about this restaurant, so others may have a different experience than we did, but I doubt we will return to see what we missed. "

  • "I have been to Table & Main several times and had an excellent dining experience. This week was definitely not the best. The service was very slow and the food was greatly lacking. The flank steak special was very tough and my shrimp and grits had no flavor at all. Our guest was horrified to find you could not order Merlot by the glass. It was a bit embarrassing . At least the dessert was very good. "

We were shoved into a corner of the room, given what I would call a “Half a Table,” and I was sitting in the busy hallway while my wife sat in the corner—the ambiance was ruined. "

  • "I was excited to take a group of first time visitors to Table and Main. We had reservations and mentioned in the reservation that we were first timers. Parking is very limited, so we had to park down the street. Not a problem normally, but it was raining that evening. Upon arriving, my group of 8 was seated at a table meant for 6 right by the kitchen door. Not off to a good start. Generally the service was OK. The she crab soup was great. I had the fried chicken, which was done perfectly, and my wife had the scallops, which she said were perfect as well. For the money, there are lots of great choices in the area, some I would score better. We will likely come back to T&M albeit with a smaller group."
