Table 926great findWould fully recommend. For groups, make a reservation to be sure, but they will fully accommodate you. Went on a Tuesday which is $12 for 3 wines or $10 for 4 beer flight night. Each of 6 got something different and everything was delicious, from the pork cheek to the burger. Specials not listed on the menu were also fantastic. Our server, along with the other wait staff, was wonderfully attentive, provided great recommendations and service. Although it was a little pricey for a weekly haunt, it is definitely somewhere I would go again and tell others to visit. They had a pretty sizable wine list with glasses or bottles ($60+) for purchase. A hidden gem of North PB tucked off Turquoise Street.6/11/2013 12:00:00 AMjust what we were looking for!Table 926 definitely fitted all the criteria: the food quality, ambience and friendly service. We chose the special menu (awesome!) but next time, we will try their regular menu. Great vibe!6/7/2013 12:00:00 AMfood was fabulous. serverfood was fabulous. server was very knowledgeable and helpful. this place is a gem!6/1/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat little place in Pacific BeachAn unexpected pleasure!! Service and food were outstanding!!5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMDefinitely worth a visit! We didn't know this "gem" was within a mile of our home until someone told us it was hidden in the back of the small parking lot. Presentation was superb and taste was delicious. A plus was a live guitarist providing a variety of gentle background music.5/29/2013 12:00:00 AMKeep coming back!We love table 926! Anytime we have friends or family come into town we take them here.5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMPB GemThe food was fantastic! Great salad, fresh seasonal fish main course and yummy dessert - all with reasonable portions and wonderful flavors!!! The ambience is simple and down to earth, very refreshing for the high quality of the food. And the staff was outstanding!! The hostess and waitress checked in with us in a very friendly and non intrusive manner. It was an overall 5 star experience!5/24/2013 12:00:00 AMOur new favorite local restaurant! We've visited Table 926 at least 6 times recently and have thoroughly enjoyed the food and the wine selections each time. Our server, Ali, is a joy to interact with and a true professional. The menu selections are innovatively prepared, the ingredients the freshest available and with half-price wine by the bottle on Thursdays, Table 926 is our go-to dining out choice!5/23/2013 12:00:00 AMFantastic value for moneyFar better than many other places charging the same prices. Food was excellent and wine specials on Thurs night made it even better. Went home very satisfied.5/16/2013 12:00:00 AMA great little neighborhood bistroWe've been to this restaurant several times now and haven't had a bad meal yet! The menu changes frequently to reflect what's in season. There's always a good variety to choose from, whether I'm in the mood for lamb or seafood or a burger. Always good sides.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTable 926Amazing food and amazing service! I will definitely go back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMLoved it!We had mother's day brunch and it was wonderful... loved that you had a small buffet of yummy items, then got to pick an entree. The food never disappoints. We'll be back!5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMTable 926 A Welcome SurpriseAlthough brunch is not considered their market, Mother's Day brunch was cozy, affordable and had unique food selections. Very casual environment.5/12/2013 12:00:00 AMWe'll be back!My husband is a good cook -- and a tad Scottish stingy. So getting him out to eat in and of itself is a challenge. Before we had even ordered at Table 926 on May 5, he had declared that he "loved this place" based on the low noise level, simple decor, chalkboard specials and local-hits beer list. He and our Cordon Bleu-trained friend both ordered pig cheeks on grits and cleaned their plates. We loved the roasted brussel sprouts as an appetizer, too. And when our waiter realized he'd entered the wrong item for one in our party, the kitchen recovered double-time, comped the dish, and threw in a dessert, too. Great service, great ambiance, great food -- and a check my hubby has happy to pick up for our party of four.
Table 926 is a gem..5/5/2013 12:00:00 AMI just ate my third dinnerI just ate my third dinner there. I've had a smile on my face and a full tummy each time I've left. The menu changes often, the staff is wonderful and we always go early so parking is never a problem.4/26/2013 12:00:00 AMWE HAD A MOST DELIGHTFUL TIMEWE HAD A MOST DELIGHTFUL TIME AND THE FOOD WAS AWESOME! OUR WAITER WAS GREAT!!! HELPFUL AND FUN!!!4/24/2013 12:00:00 AMoutstanding specials. veryoutstanding specials.
very friendly, knowledgeable service4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMA gem with great food! We've only been here twice, but both themes the food was spectacular. This latest time we brought a friend from France who has travelled the world and he was impressed and delighted with his meal. He practically licked the plates. We all did! And we just happened to be there on 1/2 price wine night, so that was a total bonus. Not much to look at from the outside but stylish on the inside.4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMPacific Beach Gem!What a find! Food was fresh and imaginative, prices reasonable + great service. Our kids enjoyed themselves too. We had an early dinner, perhaps wouldn't take kids for a late night dinner out of courtesy to others as the place would be great for a date night too. One of the highlights of our visit to San Diego!4/18/2013 12:00:00 AMI've been here twice now.I've been here twice now. The presentation of the food is beautiful, and wait staff incredibly friendly, but it's missed the mark just slightly for anyone who's an extreme foodie. The lamb ragu lacked in flavor and the chicken and spatzle dish, while yummy, was borderline too salty. I think they're trying hard and are on the right track. Some minor tweaking and this will be a real hidden, classy gem in the heart of PB.4/7/2013 12:00:00 AMA wonderful little find in SD.This is a great little restaurant that has very good food! The wine list is simple, but good. The challenge is that the menu is all fresh and runs out quickly. Therefore, order fast! Overall, this is a wonderful little spot worth trying. It's one of my favorite in San Diego.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was the second visitThis was the second visit to Table 926. Its a nice dinner for a Saturday evening. They range in price from $20 to $30 for an entree. The inside is very nice, the lighting is a little weird. We sat in a two top table almost dead center of the restuarant and there were these lights shining straight into my eyes. Lighting does a lot and I feel if they warmed the lighting a bit it wouldn't feel so harsh. The food was good, cooked well, although the sauce on my chicken was a little on the salty side. but the chicken itself was cooked perfect as were the veggies. My fiance had the pork cheeks, didn't need a knife to cut them, he had no complaints. Best part the wine pour was very generous! :)3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMTable 926 is a gem on TourquoiseTable 926 is a gourmand's delight, with very good food, a pleasant table layout, exceptional service that is attentive-but-subtle, at a reasonable price. The chef has a refined method of cooking seafood, not too dry, not too raw, not too chewy, but balanced in flavor and texture. A great restaurant for Pacific Beach.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGrouper spécial was "magnificent"Grouper spécial was "magnificent" in words of one of our party. Great service on the drinks, very accommodating.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThis was my third or fourthThis was my third or fourth time there and it has been unfailingly a very positive experience. The wait staff is wonderful, exceeded only by the food. I will definitely be going back.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMA great find.A great find. Original but not silly menu, well-made food, fresh and healthy alternatives, generous portions, fantastic friendly service, excellent desserts. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was great (no kidding). Some parking on site and more on the street. Hard to see sign - look for it! The restaurant is at the back of the parking lot. We will definitely go back. If driving from La Jolla, think about using an alternative to 5. Traffic at the Garnet Ave exit at rush/dinner hour can be bad. We took city streets back and it was a nice, short drive. We'll take city streets next time.3/14/2013 12:00:00 AM
