Table 5Pre-Mother's day treatWe were a party of 4 the night before Mother's Day. Tried the kale Caesar salad (different but good), asparagus soup (light & yummy), and calamari for a shared appetizer (delish!). Entree choices: scallops, nightly special ribeye, panko-crusted fluke, & veal chop. All were good, but the veal chop was excellent & the stand-out. Desserts included the chocolate pot-de-creme (fine), strawberry-ricotta galette (decadent), and the honey-orange cheesecake (amazing). The cheesecake is in my top 5 ever for restaurant desserts - it was that good!
Our server Adam was great - attentive and kept us informed of the kitchen situation (running slow) at appropriate times. He even got the recipe for the cheesecake at my request.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMDelisious as alwaysWent here on a Friday and had a wonderful meal. At first I was disapointed that the menu no longer has a vegeterean option but it was easy to work around by ordering the pasta dish and not eating the sausage. My dish was fantastic and my boyfriend raved about the chicken he had as well.
Service was also very good. When I told our waiter that I loved the Pinot Noir he pulled out a piece of paper and wrote the name of the wine down for me and even gave an expected price point. He also made sure to tell me that if I coudn't find the wine at stores to come back and let him know so that he could get me set up. This is exactly what customer service should be.5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat PlaceLove Table 5. Food and service is great. The atmosphere is casual althought the food is upscale.5/9/2013 12:00:00 AMChad, our waiter both timesChad, our waiter both times we ate at Table 5 was very accomandating with gluten free choices for me. We enjoined every moment. Great food and selection. We will keep the table on our list- thanks for lovely evening.4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMGood EatsThis is small restaurant, with a bar on one side and about twenty or so tables on the other. Bar side has one or two tables. Table 5, provides a variety of dishes. We ordered starters and had the stuffed portabella cap and trout pate, these came with fresh bread, which was perfect, crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Pate was okay, but the stuffed portabella cap was marvelous - good of had a whole meal them. In addition, we had soup and salad both were good. Our main dishes were the N.Y. Strip Steak and panko crusted fluke. I could eaten two of the Pankos. Our waiter was especially attentive. This is our second time at Table5.4/4/2013 12:00:00 AMThe service and food was excellentThe service and food was excellent for both my husband and my entrees. The wedge salad with bacon jam and blue cheese dressing is delicious to start and I loved my scallops with caramelized brussel sprouts. The waitstaff was highly attentive, but did not interrupt our romantic meal. I would highly recommend Table 5.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMA very pleasant dining experience.A very pleasant dining experience. Reasonable portions of well prepared very fresh food for entrees and salads; we were not really tempted by the appetizers or the desserts. I would like to return soon and try other items.3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMMy husband and I had a greatMy husband and I had a great dinner and a great experience at Table 5. The food and wine were both very good.3/25/2013 12:00:00 AMHad wonderful evening.Had wonderful evening. Jamie was delightful and the food was delicious. Our only complaint pertained to a window between the dining room and the bar that was used as a dining area by a couple and their infant child. Our table of four became a party of seven, including a shrieking baby. Shutters or curtains in place would have allowed us to not have to endure the uninvited participants to our table.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThe waiter was great, butThe waiter was great, but the food was just kind of meh. They did a lot of different things with the food, but at the end of the day, you basically got to choose from beef or chicken.3/22/2013 12:00:00 AMloved it!The food was interesting and very tasty. The staff was warm and friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant. I will definitely go there again!3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMThis is my Go to place. I'veThis is my Go to place. I've been to table 5 at least 8 times. I really like the food. The salted pretzel cheesecake is to die for. The menu changes seasonally which offers variety.3/16/2013 12:00:00 AMWorth a try.First time to Table 5 and we were impressed. High quality food and attentive staff (without being overbearing). Reasonable prices in a nice atmosphere. We will be back.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMFirst Time Diner Will ReturnTried the weekly Wednesday night "3 for $25" prix fixe menu and enjoyed all three courses. Asparagus and crab custard had great texture and flavor. Second course house salad with prosciutto, pine nuts and pear slices was also tasty. Entree leg of lamb served with potato, mushroom and carrot puree had amazing flavor but was slightly overcooked. Other guests enjoyed food as well, especially the salmon and scallops (the alternate entree choice on prix fixe menu.
Server Chad was attentive, personable and extremely knowledgeable on the food, wine and beverage selections, providing recommendations that exceeded our expectations.
Table was situated immediately next to open space where servers typed in orders, which was awkward.3/13/2013 12:00:00 AM
