  • "When it is good it is very good but etc. The gazpacho and mussels were spledid. The sushi role was good. The pork belly was seved very cold and consequently inedible. When it was returned it came back barely warm but at least it was edible and tastey. The cheese cake was interesting but we have had better. The kitchen needs more of Zacks touch. Also it was quite expensive hence a poor value"

  • "Quiet, pleasant surroundings. Mix of business and social groupings. Unique and varied food choices, except extremely limited for vegan options."

  • "The restaurant is o.k, service is above average. Portions are good for sandwiches and wraps but the chicken plates we ordered were very small. Surprisingly the "chicken" must have been a Cornish hen! The place is very big, so must be why the ambiance is not the best, maybe if it were more crowded it wouldn't feel so bare,"

  • "Ginger-carrot soup together with tomato basil quiche made this a HOME-RUN! WoW - nice combination while the mini chocolate mousse just topped the meal off. GREAT JOB!!!"

  • "Great service, outstanding food quality. We ordered a bottle of cabernet sauvignon from 1990, we got surprised by the moderate price. Everything went perfect. we will recommend this restaurant to everyone."

  • "Fine atmosphere and service. The food was creative in design, taste, and presentation, but the portions were small."

  • "I just had a tostado salad and it was not much like any tostado salad I had before. The bread on the table was very good. The server was excellent in monitoring our needs, including some allergies and modifications of the menu. I do think a weakness is an absence of someone at the entrance for rather long periods of time so your arrive to no one present in the bar area. The valet parking is a huge factor for me."

  • "our party had a variety of people , from grandpa to the young grandson. We appreciate to have been seated in a private area where we were able to enjoy our conversation with no noises around."

  • "Great menu, great food, great service, easy to get into. The only reason I can see behind why it is not as busy as the chef's other restaurants is the atmosphere is a bit sterile/institutional. Very clean and pretty, but not inspiring in the least. But - easy parking and food and service rival anywhere in town."

  • "This was our first time dining at Table 45 and my husband and I enjoyed the experience. The service was excellent. The unique menu offers selections for all types of tastes. The food was beautifully presented and, more importantly, was delicious. We will definitely return."

  • "Made reservation based on the Visit to Eataly March special. Was surprised to find a basically Japanese themed menu. The Visit to Eataly started with breads and olives, then immediately a meat and cheese platter. All very good. Main courses followed with a forgettable pasta, Sunday Sauce, delicious Risotto and one piece of chicken and fish per diner. The fish was just ok and the chicken was marginal. Final course was dessert with very good apple fritters, tasty tiramisu and tasteless mini-cannolis Overall, lots of food but nothing overly spectacular. Wait staff was good, but at $55/person (not including wine), we will look elsewhere next time."

  • "Service was attentive yet not overbearing. Appetizers to entree were served well spaced out yet entrees were served at the perfect temperature for dining. Presentation to taste were impecabble. Reasonably priced for quality of service, presenation and taste. Had to leave for orchestra and missed desert; I'll be back."

  • "My husband and I enjoyed a very nice dinner while we were staying at the Intercontinental Hotel the night before his knee surgery early Monday morning. Everything was lovely, food was excellent although just a bit pricey for a Sunday night, and the restaurant itself was very clean and attractive. The scallops entree was delicious. Breads and olive oil very good. Wonderful hostess and server. There could have been a few more small plates and salads. The only thing we noticed on a negative note was how cold it was in the dining room. Many other guests complained of the same thing. We will come back on a weekend night not related to the Cleveland Clinic and bring friends."

  • "We were seated at our reservation time, but the service was slow. Not romantic slow, but "we'll get to you when we can" slow. Slow with water and refills. Slow with bread and taking our order. The food was very good, but I have had similar at a more reasonable price. Overall, average."

  • "I went to Table 45 for valentines day, excited to have a great dinner and expect for my excellent company, it was a very disappointing experience to say the least. The service was horrible. I had a caesar salad which the dressing had way to much anchovy taste to it. The waitress asked if I wanted fresh ground black pepper on it, I said no thanks, and the didn't even pay attention as she was already grinding away pepper. My boyfriend and I had the scallops which were way over cooked, fishy tasting and rubbery. The asparagus served with it was charcoaled, burnt to a crisp. Not a single person, neither the waitress or hostess asked how everything was. No management was even visible. Really ruined my desire to try and Zack Bruell restaurant too"

  • "We are a young "senior" couple who invited friends to join us for a Valentine's Day dinner before a Severance Hall concert. The restaurant turned out to be a wonderful choice. The ladies were met with beautiful long-stemmed red roses. We were give TWO menus, one special Valentine's Day menu and the regular menu along with an extensive wine list. We ordered from the regular menu and had a fabulous dinner and excellent wine. The desserts were scrumptious as well. The waiter was very attentive and helpful in a non-invasive way. We couldn't have made a better choice!"

  • "My wife and I had an early dinner on Valentine's Day at Table 45. The staff was very friendly and attentive. We both ate off the four course special menu and had the wine pairing. I had the fillet which was cooked perfectly and my wife had the fish special which was excellent. Overall, a great experience for our first time at the restaurant. We would definitely come back."

  • "Table 45 has a beautiful scenery. Great for a date night or special occasion. would have like to see more variety on the menu. Our server was very hospitable. The overall service was a little slow we had to wait a while for our main course, while the couple next to us received their food same dish before us and we were there and ordered first. I still would recommend this restaurant it was a nice restaurant beautiful!! love the chicken 2 ways."

  • "The wait staff were excellent, professional, prompt and friendly, and we liked the inviting atmosphere. My husband ordered the lamb, which he said was quite good though not outstanding. As a vegetarian-ish, I avoid most meats and fishes, so the menu was rather limited. I opted against the one true vegetarian main course -- a stuffed tomato -- because I've had so many lousy tomatoes at restaurants over the last few years and didn't want to risk one again! There were a few tasty-sounding salads, however, and I chose the tostado salad, which was pretty good, though I couldn't taste any of the advertised cilantro in it, which would have made the salad so much more interesting. The dressing was light and pleasant. Nice wine selection."

  • "Valentines day is always tough---crowded, with service that doesnt seem to appreciate it is a special night. The restaurant gave each lady a nice red rose on coming in . That was a high point. The table was not great, stuck next to a service island with a lot of noisy distracting activity with clanking silverware, restocking plates, comings and goings. . My request for another table was rebuffed, though it appeared there were other options. The service was lackluster, and inattentive. Fortunately, the food was very good. Th house salad was fine, the strip steak, though oddly configured, was very good. My companion had some sushi and a salad herself. She said it was very good. The tapioca dessert was excellent."

  • "We were greated at the door with a Happy Anniversary and had exceptional service throughout the meal. When it came to the food it was ok. The appetizer was good, but the salad and the main meal was bland and did not look very appetizing. The Ambience was too bright for my taste. I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria. It was truly a disappointment since I have enjoyed its sister restaurants. I should have gone to L'Albartross."

  • "What penalizes Table 45 is that it is inside the Cleveland Clinic's Inter-Continental Hotel and as such not a easy place to get to. While you can valet the car it is not as appealing as just parking and going in. The other handicap is that even when you get into a hotel lobby it is not evident where this Zack Bruell gem is. As a whole, the menu is vibrant, eclectic, pan-Asian pan American (if there is such a word) and while I have no idea how the other parts of the menu worked but the tofu cakes with pasta and the romaine I had for lunch were divine."

  • "A great restaurant in a less than inviting location. Great drinks were tendered (best dirty martini in a long while) and the service was friendly and responsive. Potato-leek soup and lemon-vinaigrette salad to start were tasty, but nothing terrific. The main dishes were consumed in less than five minutes, not because of size, but due to deliciousness: bouillabaisse and beef roast. After such a stuffing our desserts were difficult to finish (goat cheese cheesecake and chocolate mousse). The restaurant week wine pairings were also incredibly affordable and tasty!"

  • "We were given the very back booth for a group of 6 for lunch. It was a wonderful location, it was like we were having a private meeting! The only problem is it took at least 10 minutes before someone came back to wait on us and give us menus. After that, the service was great and the food was excellent!"

  • "I have been to both L'Albatross and Cowell and Hubbard; so I had high expectations for Saturday night. And they were met. The staff were exceptional. Professional and friendly, their service was outstanding. Since Zach Bruell had chosen this time for a restaurant week for his restaurants we were able to experience exceptional cuisine at great prices. My husband and I selected the arugula salad for a starter. then I had the bouillabaise and my husband had the 5 ounce strip steak..The portion size was perfect and the food was excellent. i haven't mentioned the ambience, the decor was lovely. The lights were low, the seats were comfortable and the effect was totally glamorous. For our desert we chose the goat cheese cheese cake. Excellent!"

  • "Table 45 is always our go-to place for great food and service. This night was no exception. We brought a couple with us for their first experience and it was a home run. Great service and wonderful, different food. I had the Salmon and braised sauerkraut. Wow, what a great taste combination. Everything was exquisite!"

  • "Food was good overall. Menu is not very cohesive, but good choices exist across the spectrum. Service was fine even though our order was messed up once, it was quickly fixed. Prices are fair. Nice ambiance, but it is hard to get past the fact that it is attached to a hospital. Large space helps decrease noise."

  • "To be a great "table", Table 45 would have to offer more than the outstanding food. The service cannot be approximate, unfortunately only 4 of our 5 starters have been served, the fifth one has arrived only when our efforts for getting the attention of a server have succeeded. The bottle of water which we had ordered from the beginning had lost his way, it has found it much later. Having dinner in good company at my table has compensated for the somehow cold atmosphere of the place, artwork from local painters on the walls could create a better feeling, that's just my taste !"

  • "We previously have dined here and have been impressed but Saturday night was another story. We did not receive our cocktails until after the appetizers arrived. My champagne cocktail arrived in a water glass because they could not find the flutes! In addition I ordered scallops for $30, I received 3 scallops! 3! Salads were nicely sized. The wait staff messed up our bill. This place needs a lot of work on service and serving sizes. We won't be going back until they figure it out."
