The ambiance was authentic down to the bistro tile floor in the market and rear of the dining room, the small coxy tables and the bustling pace. The serivce was spot-on, our server Meg, knew the wine list well and was able to make specific recommendations on wine and food pairings. I usually judge the quality of the chef in a French bistro by the quality of the roast chicken dinner. At Table 3 an airline breast was served with leg and thigh, on the bone, with a mushroom risotto - Perfect, I ate every bite. We were there during the dinner rush on a Saturday, and told our waiter that we had movie tickets. He went out of his way to make sure that we served quickly, and had a great dinner. Fresh, seasonal food, that is always carefully prepared and beautifully presented. Everything we ate, from the frogs legs to the cassoulet, was prompt, hot, and cooked to perfection. The service was just as good as the food. Attentive but not intrusive, suggestive with out condescension, and genuine to boot. Every time we eat there I am more and more impressed.
