Tabella at Clear CreekFood quality was outstanding.Food quality was outstanding. We will be back. A
refreshing change of pace from the normal Kemah crazy.5/17/2013 12:00:00 AMWe went for a special ladies'We went for a special ladies' night event. It was a fun evening on the patio painting wine glasses and eating appetizers and wine. I was introducing the place to a friend. She had fun and will return to eat a meal in the dining room. I really like this place. The chef, Coco, is a sweetheart.5/15/2013 12:00:00 AMQuaint findMy mother and I had a lovely 4-course dinner in a beautiful restaurant. Everything was delicious and fresh.5/11/2013 12:00:00 AMGreat little secret.Tabella was a refreshing surprise. I am not much of a wine drinker but since they make their own wines I had to try it and was very pleased.I had a tropical themed wine that was great. We then ordered the cheese plate which needs a little work but was decent. Next we had the three course tasting menu which started with a salad. My Cesar salad tasted very fresh and flavorful using kale was a nice touch. My wife had the garden salad which also was excellent. For our entrees I had crab cakes with seasonal veggies. Crab cake actually tasted like crab not a ball of breading with a little crab. My wife had the chicken which although it was a little small had a great flavor to it. We finished off with a canelle for desert and it tasted home made5/10/2013 12:00:00 AMFabulousThe food was fresh from the farm and cooked to perfection. The chef came to our table to make sure everything was satisfactory.
The wine selection was awesome. We will be a returning customer in the near future and bring our friends. Thank you Chef Coco for a romantic evening with my husband.5/4/2013 12:00:00 AMHidden gemFood was excellent, low noise level, good wine choices.4/20/2013 12:00:00 AMAwesome Experience!Such a wonderful experience! Chef Coco is amazing! We are most definetly coming back!4/19/2013 12:00:00 AMFarm to Table Goodness! This might be the only farm-to-table restaurant in Kemah but it worthy of a Houston or Galveston drive for sure! On a recent visit to Kemah, partner and I were seeking something off the boardwalk but still centrally located near the charm of Kemah. Originally attracted to Tabella by association with Clear Creek winery (also occupying the same building) but on next visit will skip the winey and head straight to the table. The food was simply outstanding; dish after dish superbly combined fresh ingredients, seasoning and expert cooking to deliver mouthwatering delights. The chef visited our table twice!4/13/2013 12:00:00 AMFood was amazing! Very flavorfulFood was amazing! Very flavorful yet not to rich or over bearing. The pumpkin ravoli is to die for! only dish we didnt care for was their Shrimp Diablo. Chef was very pleasant. Dining area was small, seating was very close to each other. We did not like that so we sat outside on the side. If would spruce up the side it could be very pleasant to sit outside and eat. They need to work on putting it all together and combining their taste room, outside and restaurant in a more flowing matter. Tasting room could be so much more. You need a new server in your tasting room. He new nothing about wine. Told him we had never been ther before and wanted to know "how it works". He gave no information3/30/2013 12:00:00 AMThe fresh food and serviceThe fresh food and service were impeccable. We will definitely be back.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMMy wife and I did the threeMy wife and I did the three course tasting. My chicken was a bit underwhelming, but our kale salads, her shrimp diablo, desserts, and wine were great. We're definitely coming back for the full menu experience.3/23/2013 12:00:00 AMThought about giving thisThought about giving this spot a bad review to keep the crowds at bay, but just could not do it to a staff that deserves the best rating...keep up the good work. A little bit of Napa in Seabrook.3/15/2013 12:00:00 AMA place not to be missedSo my first review of this place was less than stellar. After it was posted, the Executive Chef Coco called me to apologize and asked of we would give her another chance. I could tell that she was sincere in telling me it was a isolated event. My wife and decided to give them a second chance and they completely "WOWED" us. Our server Rachel knew the menu and what wines would pair well, knew all about where the food and wine was sourced and educated us on how it was prepared. Coco also came out and sat with us to go through the 5 course meal to suggest different entrees that we might have overlooked and to find out what our favorites might be. The meal and wine pairings were exceptional and we already know who we are going to take next!3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
