I, a woman, was with two elegant men for lunch. They devoured the bread. One had the tossed Cobb salad, one had the beet salad, and I had the lobster salad. Both men enjoyed their salads very much, but I thought my lobster salad was very light on actual lobster - as in almost non-existent. Dessert - berry crumble and cheese cake were excellent. It is the surroundings that I go for at T. Cook's. You can easily have a good conversation in this large, beautiful, quiet room - and we did.

For many years, T.Cook's was my favorite restaurant in Phoenix. However, on my last two visits, the food was extremely disappointing. On my most recent visit, our service was very good; however, the food for each course was cold when it was served. The antelope entree was grossly overcooked and tasteless. I doubt that I will return to T. Cook's until there is new talent in the kitchen.

The hotel is beautiful as is the restaurant. Everyone was very professional... To a fashion. The food was not cooked correctly (chicken dry, steak cold) and the after taking our order, the waiter decided to spend his time talking to patrons about the constitution.

Overall outstanding evening. Although our service started out less than ideal: our appetizers were served to us at 3 separate times (for 5 people) while we waited for a dish that had apparently been dropped to be remade. We weren't told until later during the meal why the service was so slow and inconsistent at the start. But we weren't in a hurry, and the chef more than made up for the weak start by giving us an apology, a bottle of wine and a sampling of delicious desserts. The food was all outstanding. We enjoyed scallops, pork, red trout and octopus among other things and everything was beautifully served, creatively prepared and delicious.

I was excited to go to T. Cook's as I hadn't been there since the remodel and new chef. The lunch menu was fairly small; mostly, salad oriented, and very underwhelming. In addition, our server seemed to be in a rush to be done with the lunch service.

Almost everything excellent as normal. Of the three of us two ordered the Ribeye steak special and both said that the cut was not that good and overall flavor was not up to par with some of the better steak houses. I had Lamb and it was excellent.

My wife and I came in much earlier than our scheduled reservation and were promptly seated at a nice table next to their patio fireplace. Our server Laura arrived at our table and was an extremely knowledgeable, gracious and kind host throughout the entire night. She gave great food recommendations and helped me with a stellar wine pairing through the whole meal. We enjoyed their corn agnaliote, and a special of boar for our starters which were delicious. The lobster in our pasta was cooked to absolute perfection. We moved into their corn bisque with 'dehydrated' corn, the red trout, and then a very hearty portion of foie. Everything was exceptional with talented plates and great flavors. Very well done, thank you

We wanted our guest to enjoy a special lunch and we were not disappointed. We ate in the beautiful indoor dining room at a table near a window with a view of the outdoor dining terrace and a lawn that was set up for a wedding. Service was expert. Food was divine. Seating and temperature were comfortable and you could hear one another's conversation without the feeling that you were being overheard. Delightful.

I must say, T Cook's was very accommodating. It was my friend's birthday and they even put Happy Birthday with her name on the menu! That was a special touch. They even gave us a copy of the menu. A free dessert was also given which accommodated her diabetes (fresh fruit). The service was impeccable. Thanks T. Cooks for outstanding service! And the food was delicious.

I have eaten here before and had a very good experience at a Mother's Day brunch. We decided to try it again during restaurant week. We were seated without the restaurant week menu but it was provided after we asked for it. We ordered from that menu but also an appetizer off the regular menu. Every course took forever and when the food arrived it was not hot, but rather warm. The front of the house and the back of the house were not communicating well. Both the waiter and the house manager apologized for the slow service. It took over two hours for a three course meal. Doubt I will be back soon.

We have dined @ T-cooks for a few of our wedding anniversaries over the past 15 years and always had a fabulous meal, with great service and a romantic evening. Recently we went with friends, it was awesome sharing one of favorite places to celebrate with them. My meal started with the Roasted beet Salad, which was so wonderfully delightful, followed by the Red Trout, absolutely the most delicious fish dish I have ever had! I highly recommend it!! And I finished off my meal with the rhubarb and strawberry tart, OMG it was out of this world! The wine selection was great I had 2 Glasses of Farniente Pinot Noir, One of my all time favorites. A must for your food bucket list!

I was disappointed to dine in a room with a man wearing a baseball hat and shorts. The food was so-so: my pork chop was very fatty, and almost everything was over-salted. The table service was efficient but cold. However, the host staff was very friendly. The dining room is beautiful.

We went for Sunday brunch and it was a bit of a letdown. They had two buffets, one a cold, shellfish/seafood oriented buffet, seafood for a cocktail party. The other was dessert table with a variety of cheap muffins, cookies and simple little mousse dishes. Mostly items that could have come from the grocery store bakery, and they tasted like it. For any hot food, it had to be ordered off the menu (which I did) and it was limited for breakfast. The breakfast burrito was fairly skimpy and the steak inside was somewhat tough and flavorless. Very little egg in the breakfast burrito. Prices, were, as usual, high.

It was definitely slow dining which was a plus so my wife and I could talk and enjoy each course. The service alone is worth coming to T Cooks.

We were celebrating a special occasion with two other couples, our closes friends and everyone agreed it was a magical evening. Two of the three couples had been to T. Cook's before, but it didn't fail to wow us again. The property is gorgeous and the food was outstanding. The service was equally perfect. I ordered a special occasion desert with a congratulatory message through OpenTable and it appeared without me ever having to talk to staff about it. To top the evening off, there was an outstanding singer in the lounge that adjoined the restaurant and we stopped to have a nightcap and a dance.

We were recommended to go here by a foodie friend and it was work every penny! Food was amazing - my husband has antelope and I had a lamb ragu. We started with a cheese tray ... huge portions of cheese and meats!! We also had soup - mine was achilled tomato soup and his was a much tastier corn chowder. The wine list has options for every price point; very reachable for those without endless disposable income! This is THE perfect special occasion restaurant. Apparently the restaurant was recently redone and the interiors are very very classy ... not typical desert casual. I wish they enforced a tighter dress code ... restaurant is part of a resort so we saw shorts and flip flops and jeans on men. Will definitely return someday.

The food and ambience were excellent. The service was the worst I have encountered in a high end restaraunt. The only good part was the young man filling the water was thorough. The waiter greeted us early but did not return for 10 minutes. I had placed order for 2 sides and they never arrived. Another person brought out the entrees and the waiter again did not return for several minutes. I told him about it and he said he would check but again did not return to tell us. It was not until the end of the meal did he tell me another person took thembut only after I asked. Thus besides a poor waiter it would seem that too many people are involved with providing service to each table. So called "too many cooks spoil the broth".
