Our waitress Rhoda was so wonderful. You don't get service like that anymore. Food was amazing - presentation, taste, serving size - all perfect. We had the Ribeye and the Salmon - wow. We were one of 3 tables filled on a Saturday night, but it was early (5:30) So, a little weary at first soon passed with the awesome service and great food. We were in and out in time for a concert at the Sycuan casino. Great date night! Highly recommend the trip out to Sycuan resort. Wish we could have got a room there.

  • Do not sit inside
    OpenTable Diner Since 2012
    Dined on 6/15/2012
We've been here for the BBQ nights before and we loved it. The first time we sat outside and loved everything, this time I got a call about 3 hours before our reservation letting us know there was a private event outside and we'd have to sit inside. We figured it would be fine. The noise level inside was almost unbearable. There's a live performer who sings and plays a guitar. We couldn't even hear her, and could barely hear each other at our own small table. Our waitress took 10 minutes to get to our table, didn't explain the menu for the night or tell us the drink specials. My husband ordered another drink after dinner and it never arrived, but when the check arrived the drink was on there. We will go back, but will sit outside

Green Tomato Gazpacho was fabulous! Love the emphasis on local and seasonal foods. Reasonably priced entrees make this a good value for fine food dining.

This restaurant was one of my families favorite places to go on holidays for years. This time the food was NOT good. Out of 5 people dining, only one would order what they got again and that was a hambuger. The menu was changed and it seems in an attempt to get fancy they missed the mark. Humus wrap was horrible, Salad with Rock Shirmp (the shrimp was coated with something and it was warm, and placed on my organic greens which made them warm and limp. Ruben was greasy and bread was soggy from liquid not being drained. The bread was supposed to be toasted but was not. We had heard of a new chef and were very excited. He even came out to meet us. Very, very disappointing. The only thing I enjoyed was the onion ring. Probably won't be back.

Went for easter brunch, so extremely full as expected. Service, food, and price were excellent. However seating arrangement was horrible there were waiters and guests constantly bumping into our chairs. Would recommend on a regular sunday. Great food for adults and children as wel. Overall considering it was easter i would give a B minus.

The time started of promisingly when I was able to substitute the salad on the Valentines Day set menu for a yummy looking soup I saw in the bar. It was a butternut squash bisque. The server did a great job of upselling us on the wine pairing for each of the three courses for $10 per person. Then it went downhill.... We didn't see our server again for some time. My soup arrived cold along with the solitary shrimp on a sugar cane skewer which wouldn't have been so bad I suppose if the shrimp had 2 bites to it which it didn't. 15 minutes later (still no sign of wine), warm sourdough bread was brought to the table. I now knew that the kitchen was officialy in trouble. Anytime you are offered bread, re-fills or something to divert your at

Place was great! Food was good! Pricing was good but they served my 5 year old a drink with a straw that was so hot it burned his mouth pretty bad. They did bring him free fruit and they all were very helpful and concerned. Overall they are a great place.

Loved the local, fresh ingredients and the perfection and presentation of the items we ordered. Since three of us shared two apps, two salads and two entrees, we got a great sampling of some of the menu items.
