We arrived 15 minutes early and were immediately seated. The waitress answered questions we had on several menu items very well, and was very friendly and attentive. The food was amazing!   • "I have been to Sweet T's several times and this last experience was by far the least impressive. Our fish was a bit under cooked, and to be honest, it just wasn't that good. It was a fairly pricey plate of food. I will still go now and then to have a pulled pork sandwich, and that is what I recommend, but not much more."

  • "I met several of my high school girlfriends for lunch. The waiter was attentive but patient with us. His service couldn't have been better. The food was excellent. It was quiet enough that we could converse easily. Parking was easy. We stayed a long time, and no one rushed us out. I would definitely come here again and would be willing to try it for dinner."

  • "Who knew you could find southern comfort food in Santa Rosa. It was a great find for me and my girlfriends. The Yelp rating was accurate, the food was yummy, along with the specialty martini drinks. There was one in our group who was from Alabama, and she loved the shrimp and grits dish. We had to have the sweet potato bread pudding, and it didn't disappoint."

  • "The main course salmon was cooked perfectly, although the tequila sauce wasn't that flavorful. The butternut squash soup was thickened and tasted like it had flour in it, just not that flavorful. The bread pudding was delicious. The meal timing was a little off, as our entrees arrived very soon after the soup and salad before we had time to finish. Also, the server of the salads said they did not have fresh ground pepper, but when the waiter was asked, he said of course they did, and brought it right over. The wine pairing choices with the food were good, and the waiter flexible with choosing alternates, which was much appreciated! The general ambience was good, trendy. I would try it again."

  • "This was our first time experiencing Sweet Ts - came for Restaurant Week. Understandably, service was a bit slow due to large numbers and our reserved table was right in the middle of it all. The food was good ... stand outs were the bread pudding dessert and the ribs. $29 felt high for the quantity, quality and overall service. I'd like to see what the place is like when it's not so busy, but I won't go out of my way to go again ..."

  • "Met a friend for a leisurely lunch and Sweet T's was perfect. We ate outside on the patio--the weather was beautiful and they had plenty of umbrellas for shade. The service was very good without being intrusive, and the food was excellent. We both had the fried chicken (best I've ever had) and we shared an appetizer of yummy fried Brussels sprouts. They also offered a nice selection of wines by the glass."

  • "We have eaten here a few times, but this night, we had reservations and unfortunately ended up waiting for 30 mins past our reservation time. The manager came over and apologized, and said he would get us an appetizer on the house. It made it really special that he noticed and took action to make us happy. The food was excellent, the pulled pork nachos, the fried chicken, the pulled pork sandwich were all divine. Highly recommend."

  • "Got there around 5:15pm and the place was very busy. The noise level was extremely loud and conversation during the dinner was difficult. The standard line was, "What did you say?" Now our party was on "old" side so the young ones might be OK with the noise. The food was good to very good, but not special. The service was excellent. I might go back again for lunch, but not for dinner."

  • "Are you kidding me? Had to wait 15 minutes in a crowd of people(party of 18) because my second person hadn't arrived yet and neither had the 18th person in that party. I was told "sorry, we can't seat you until everyone in your party is here". Meanwhile, the small waiting area is packed with not only the party of 18 waiting but a couple of other parties waiting for their final guests. Instead of seating everyone and having them enjoy an adult beverage or two while waiting, you stand there in a small crowded area pushing up against other patrons trying to enjoy dinner. Somebody here really needs to revisit this policy. The food and table service were outstanding but the arrival experience is still part of the overall dining experience."

  • "Sweet T's is tucked away in the beautiful hills east of Santa Rosa. The ribs, chicken and brisket are all smoked on the premises and are perfectly spiced. The choice of vegetables is eclectic and delicious, and perfectly balanced for a vegetarian meal. The wine list is fairly small, but offers a good variety of local Wine Country favourites. We have dined and lunched there on several occasions and find the service outstanding. The owners are hands-on, and obviously treat their staff with respect - it shows, in the attitude of all the wait staff, including the bussing people. And leave room for the Mud Pie - or the Bread Pudding - or the Key Lime Pie - we rarely stray from these favourites. Truly wonderful!"

  • "We had reservations and arrived 20 minutes early and were seated immediately. There was a large party next to us so I was a little concerned about the noise level, but it was not bad at all. Our server was prompt, courteous and attentive. I was surprised at how good the hushpuppies were. I had never been impressed with them before, but after having these, I think I might learn to make them. We both had the fried chicken dinner; my date substituted creamed corn for the vegetables that came with. The chicken was really, really good and so were the biscuits. I was just a little disappointed in the garlic mashed potatoes. I thought they were too dense and heavy and not very warm. Other than that, we were very pleased with everything."

Failed to tell us about two specials which when we heard another server describe them to diners at an adjacent table sounded like something we might have ordered. Have dined here before without such problems. Maybe just a new server."
