We were especially wowed by the Almond Joy cheesecake4/23/2013 12:00:00 AMLong time favorite!Has been a personal favorite for over 20 years, though I don't get to dine here as often as I'd like. Today I tried one of the specials, Chicken "Pot Pie." We began our meal with the Gorgonzola Fondue which was priced at $3.95 and more than enough for my friend and I to share. Though my main entree was yummy (and I finished it), my all time favorite is the Pecan Chicken (which my friend ordered and loved). The restaurant had a variety of diners today (business, family, friends) and has a different atmosphere at night, very lively and fun for groups and couples.

We chose Sweet Lorraine's because they have an outstanding menu that changes frequently and is vegetarian-friendly as well. The atmosphere was fantastic - dim, well placed lighting, nice decor, comfortable booth. We ordered a mixed drink and a glass of wine recommended by the waiter - both were great. The food was still the best part. It is flavorful, original, and the portions are huge. I would definitely go back. The service and food were wonderful!3/9/2013 12:00:00 AM
