  • "Bartender was great, loved the blue cheese stuffed olives in my martini. My arugula salad was awesome, but my deviled crab stuffed flounder was just ok. It was kind of dry and not overwhelming. My husband had the duck with the goat cheese flan and his was very tasty. If I go back, I would try a different menu item. Overall, I was not overly impressed for the price."

  • "I chose this restaurant because the reviews were good, and the menu online had a lot of options. When we arrived and looked at the menu I asked my wife if we should leave. I wish we had. Everything was overdone. The Steak and Potatoes was inedible. There was such a heavy, sweet, gelatinous "demi glace" over everything. I couldn't find the steak. I don't want to bash the place any further, so I'll stop the review here."

  • "The duck breast was okay. The scallops that my wife had were terrible. They had been trimmed to less than a half inch thickness. 3 little scallops for $26. Very poor. It was our second and last time there. We are food people. Came home and prepared scallops for her the next night. They were delicious. Sorry to see this. Sorry to have to leave this feedback."

  • "The menu is interesting, arranged into small, medium, and large plates. There is a LOT of food on the large plate, so don't be daunted by the "extra" sides shown on the menu. Everything we had was delicious and prepared perfectly. I had the duck, and it was tender and moist, but the skin was crisp and not greasy at all. Butternut squash flan? Genius. My daughter had the shrimp (and scallops) and grits. They got the grits right, the dish was well seasoned, but the scallops stole the show. Because she's a sweetheart, she gave me one- and it was The. Best. Ever. Compares favorably with restaurant gems we've found around the world Oh! Try the Honey Badger cocktail! It's not the recipe you'll find online, and it is yummy- even on a chilly night."

  • "My girlfriend and I are local foodies. Sweet Grass (SG) had been on restaurant radar for some time as we heard good things from friends. We visited SG on a Sunday night to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. The reception was welcoming and pleasant. My noted accommodation on Open Table for special table was granted. The waitress was warm, friendly and helpful. The complimentary cornbread with sweet cream butter melted in your mouth. Drink list was extensive enough to satisfy most diners. We both ordered the Grilled Duck Breast which was cooked to perfection and delicious. The accompanying Yellow Squash Goat Cheese Flan was strangely a taste sensation for me. Lastly, we shared a Creme Brulee for dessert, the portion is perfect for two."

  • "The food was phenomenal! We were celebrating my hubby's promotion, and the atmosphere, drinks and food made the night perfect! We shared the mussels (with Allen Benton's bacon - seriously amazing!), grilled triggerfish and the rabbit. Everything was fantastic! Perfectly cooked and flavorful! Love this place! Will be back!"

  • "The first table we were given was in the middle of the floor next to the bar, people had to walk around the table constantly, we moved immediately to a table against the wall-much better. My mixed drink had way too much lime - the table next to us sent back their drink back twice. My meal (one of the specials) came with squash - it all still had the rind on it - the vegetables were bland - not seasoned and the rind was hard and difficult to eat. The greens on the plate were not cooked- very bland. the fish was luke warm when served but was as described - white fish - mild. The wait staff was professional and efficient. of all the places to eat, we will be making a different choice next visit to Memphis."
