"Swagat does an admirable job with its Indian cuisine offerings. With a father from India, he is suitably impressed with how well-seasoned and spicy the vindaloo offerings are. Lamb and beef dishes here tend to have moist chunks of meat in them; somehow the kitchen doesn't know to use thigh or leg meat from the chicken and as a result, the chunks of chicken breast that appear in virtually every curry dish are uniformly dry and not at all tender or juicy despite the sauce that surrounds them. Surprised they don't understand that after years of cooking chicken. There's an art to cooking chicken breasts so that they stay moist. Reheating, as must be done with Indian sauce dishes,
makes chicken breast tough and dry. Everyone knows this."

"Every dish was delectable. It is very small and compact but we were not going for ambience. If you are looking for fabulous Indian food, this will not be a disappointment. Enjoy."

"Pleasant small quiet neighborhood restaurant with attentive but not in your face service. Reliable food quality, seems fresher than most Indian restaurants. Not for a major occasion, but great for an easy dinner out, or good for groups or families."
