  • "Where else in town can you BYOB your finest ad pair with worthy food! Thank you chef!"

  • "This was the fourth time we have dined at Suze. The food and service have always been great! Particularly like the songs from the 50' s and 60' s that we listen to as we eat. The fried green tomatoes are a good appetizer and the salmon was delicious, as was the chocolate "Gob" dessert."

  • "Wish we lived in the neighborhood... We take a trek to Suze a couple of times a year and have done so for the last 5 years. Great food paired with a very reasonable, and well chosen wine list. Also, you can BYOW with a corkage fee at $25, but it is waived for reservations before 6:30p... Bolognese is perennial favorite, but EVERYTHING on the menu is fantastic. We've tried it all."

  • "Small restaurant in the northwest part of town. It was called "Mediterranean" but it actually has a fusion between European and Asian food."

  • "I can't say enough great things about my meal and my service. My waiter was warm and friendly and made sure to check on us. The food was so delicious I couldn't believe it! Also, please, please, please try the Chocolate "Gob," You won't be disappointed!"

  • "Don't be fooled by the location next to a supermarket. Once you walk in you know it's going to be good. Intimate setting, neighborhood feel and great food. The waitstaff was attentive but not overpowering."

  • "My husband and I really enjoyed the special menu prepared for Valentine's. We have gone to Suze's for many years and enjoy their regular menu as well."

  • "It had been at least 5 years since our last dinner at Suze, and it was the best meal we had ever had there. Our Open Table reservation was waiting for us, and we walked right in to our table. Everyone's meal was top notch, and our gluten free friend had many options to choose from as well. We won't be waiting another 5 years to return to Suze."

  • "If you drove past Suze, you wouldn't even notice it was there. It's a tucked away little gem. The food was outstanding, which is the most important thing for me. The decor of the place was nice but nothing to write home about. If your into wine, they have a huge wine selection. I have two things to complain about this place. First we made reservations for 8:15 pm and we didn't get seated until almost 9pm. Second, the noise level. They cram a lot of people into this little joint and it gets loud. I had a hard time holding a conversation because I wasn't able to hear what was being said. Despite having to wait and the noise level the food was great and worth the wait. I would recommend this place with out any hesitation."

  • "Being from out of town, we like to try new and unique places. Dallas tends towards chains, so finding a little gem like Suze takes a little work. Everything was great here, from the perfectly prepared, slightly different take on classics, food to the attentive and genuine concern for our dining experience. The pasta is all homemade so I would recommend any of it. The steak was perfectly cooked and nicely flavored. We had an off menu blueberry dessert that was worth a return visit all on its own. While we didn't have one, the lavosh pizzas also looked yummy. Our waiter was very friendly and made sure our dining experience was wonderful. I highly recommend seeking out this neighborhood spot for dinner soon."

  • "I don't care how many times I go here or how many new folks I bring, the overall conclusion is that the dining is sensational the decor is lacking still but I am not there for the decor, I am there for the food. The most excellent food in Dallas. Go there or don't...i always will. Get the fois gras, the steak the Carpaccio and the brazini. don't forget their salmon. Oh its a culinary dream. Took some locals who had never been and dine out every night. they stated the best meal they had ever had in Dallas. low key and understated, yet staff and food remain consistent. Good for them. Going back soon."

  • "Suze is one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants as the food is reliably great, as is the service It's been around forever for a reason. The menu is eclectic but most notably, the chef has a light touch but always comes up with interesting blend of flavors. None of this heavy sauce or TexMex stuff or fillers. Do try the salmon which I think is a real signature dish. The mushroom ravioli is also fantastic, and normally I think pasta dishes are boring. Or try the specials. We go there regularly."

  • "We found Suze on the D Magazine top 100 list and it did not disappoint. While it is located in a shopping center, you would not know from inside. Also it is around the corner from the retail stores so it rather quiet. Very cozy interior with close tables, but we felt this did not detract from the experience. Delicious wine, bread with pesto, almond-crusted rainbow trout, wild mushroom ravioli and the sticky toffee pudding was not to be missed!!!! The food really was absolutely wonderful. Staff was friendly and our server helped with wine selection and was very attentive. This will definitely be on our rotation of date night spots."

  • "This was the usual great menu and fun evening with friends. The only VERY slight negative is that it can be a bit noisy, especially if you are trying to carry on a conversation."

  • "The chef is awesome. Food is legit high-end dining experience in an intimate neighborhood dining setting. While Suze has a nice wine list at great prices, you can also BYOB. Lots of regular customers that wine enthusiasts. Perhaps best BYOB dining experience on this side of the metroplex. That's why we regularly drive 25 miles one way from the suburbs to dine here"

  • "It's one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants because the food is great, the service is great, especially during the weekdays . It's a small, intimate restaurant. The menu specials vary but are almost always great. For standard entrees, try the salmon or the mushroom ravioli or the rack of lamb or the duck. You will find the chef has a knack for putting together great combinations without overpowering your entrée with heavy seasoning, sauces or side dishes. Menus may vary seasonally. We go there all the time as it is very reliable regarding the quality of the food, and service. I definitely would recommend to friends. It's been there forever I think because it serves great food. Also, It's not too expensive."

  • "First time dining here, but really enjoyed it. Dined with some friends who really liked the friendly service (without asking brought my wife a sample of a wine she was thinking about) and food (wedge salad was beautiful to look at and even better to eat!). definitely recommend this place. Smallish, so be sure to call ahead, especially if you have a seating pref, but I can't imagine having a bad experience here!"

  • "Suze is still a neighborhood treasure and fills most nights with the power couples of North Dallas and Preston Hollow. The food is still quite good, but not quite at the level of the extraordinary flavor of years past. The restaurant sits in a less than stellar location next to the Albertsons's, but the space is warm and inviting and the hostess and servers friendly and attentive. As you walk in, the main room to the left is much preferred, but don't expect to sit there if you are not a regular. My wife's fish was quite good, although not well accompanied on the plate. I had the duck which was certainly good, but the standout by far was the accompanying foie gras which made the dish special. Wine prices reasonable. List needs some updating."

  • "First time at Suze and not sure what to expect. The decor was pleasant although I sat directly next to a wine refrigerator and my line of sight was into a vacuous work station. The noise level was quiet and seemed filled with locals. Ordered the Suze salad/acorn squash salad and enjoyed them both. We had a miss with the entree. The red snapper was sent back, not the freshest. The staff was gracious. Offered a complimentary dessert which more that made up for the mishap. (BTW we did not know of the BYOB policy. The wine was over priced. No wonder folks brought their own. Nothing on the website told us of the policy. Bummer. Conclusion, if you're looking for a local restaurant with a personal touch this is a good choice."

  • "Suze's has my vote for best neighborhood restaurant. It has a friendly, yet intimate atmosphere. Great food, great chef. I bring out of town couples here frequently. It's a fantastic break from Dallas steakhouse/tex-mex/southeast fusion. Try the salmon, the lambchop or mushroom ravioli (seriously). Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, but mostly I come here for the great food."

  • "It had been a while since we had been to Suze. The meal was wonderful as always. Wine list is pricey for the quality of wine. -- $50+ for a screwtop cardonney. Noise level was rather high."

  • "Love the restaurant however ... The waitstaff needs to be trained on how to serve a wine. I took a special $150 bottle and purchased another $99 bottle during dinner. Sadly our waitress (I wont name because she just needs training) dumped both bottles like water. Very disappointing but our guest loved the place too."

  • "As many times as I go back after going through the list of dining establishments I can choose from in dallas, this one always blows my mind when I do pick it. It is our favorite go to and food is always superb. The best filet I think in dallas but perfectly done salmon are just two of the dozens I always return. Brought new folks from nyc there and now they love it. Just awesome."
