Some of the best unagi I've ever had and eaten sushi in may parts of the non-Asian world. The spicy tuna roll is spicy but great. The ambiance is pleasant, the wait staff is solid but not as knowledgeable as I had hoped, and just a tad inattentive. That being said, the staff is very nice, which was much appreciated. Each course was both a work of art and a taste treat. The authenticity of the Japanese cuisine was attested to by the number of native Japanese diners we saw. We will definitely go back--it was the best sushi we've ever had and the black tempura was the only softshell crab dish that my husband has ever liked. Each dish was perfectly prepared and serve with wonderful sake. Our service was beautiful. We always had what we wanted at the table and if we ordered something else it came right away and was quietly served. Our server was knowledgable about all the dishes and sake we were ate. We were seated right next to the window which made for a beautiful sun set and people watching. I would recommend this to all who love new food experience and are not afraid to spend money. Every penny spent was worth it.

Usually difficult to understand the server due to heavy accent. Shrimp in Sashimi tend to be watery and not firm (on two occasions) presentation is lovely and food is generally excellent.
