The sushi was very fresh and served beautifully. The restaurant is hard to find if you have never been there before because it is inside an outside shopping area. And a GPS is no help. It would be nice to have that explained on their website and have suggestions where to park. (Valet is best and easy to find once you know how to do it)
The hostess was not all that friendly and it did take forever to get my check. (not really a big deal)
I did love the decor and atmosphere of Sushi Roku and the sushi chefs were all very friendly. The hostess wished him a happy birthday and so did our server! Loved that. Then after our dinner, they served us a lava cake (which is his favorite, he was like "How did they know? Did you tell them anything?) and on the plate it said happy birthday Eric in chocolate cursive. By far the best experience we've had there ever.
