"If your looking for a classy place with fabulous sushi, this is your place!! A tad pricey..but well worth it. I met friends who are avid sushi fans..they were even floored. I received a big thank you fro them for introducing them to Sushi Roku. Great place for a first date,make a great first impression.

"The restaurant was very accomodating. We were originally seated at a table that was a little cramped due to a large party next to us. The host immediately found us another table that was more comfortable. After that the food and service was great. I will definitely be returning."

"Don't waste your $48 bucks on the New York steak. Very disappointing, it wasn't cooked medium the first time and the sauce was incredibly salty. A definite go back. When it came back with the sauce on the side, it was a tasteless piece of meat. The rest of the meal was ok. Unfortunately, we went there because on previous occasions the rib eye (which they've taken off the menu) was great."

"I have always liked Sushi Roku Hollywood, but since they reopened I feel like it isn't as intimate as it used to be and the food quality isn't quite up there where it should be. We were also shocked to be charged $15 for an ume roll which we buy at another local restaurant for $6. The place seems noisier than it used to be, pre-renovation. Still, it is one of the better sushi restaurants in the area."

"Sushi-Roku was the perfect spot for my Valentine's Day date! My date and I arrived late (had reserved on opentable), and the hostess took the time to make it work...which impressed me!! Our waiter was terrific and knowledgable about the Roku menu (to the finer details). And yes, the food was magnificent.
I highly recommend Roku!!"
