Our party of seven included three children, and we were looking for a light lunch/brunch before taking in a show. Supernova had delicious salads for some of us, nutritious omelets for others, pasta for the kids, and nova and bagels for another couple. Wonderful croissants were served to accompany our meals, and coffee flowed freely with great service. We were not rushed and had a fabulous view of Time Square. This was a gem of a find for us.

Despite the fact that I was able to make an 11:30 reservation on OpenTable, the restaurant does not begin serving brunch until noon. When my party arrived they were still clearing the hotel breakfast buffet, and the did not seem AT ALL concerned by the fact that we were able to make an 11:30 reservation. In fact, when I suggested that they inform OpenTable of their brunch hours, the man cleaning the bar said, "Trust me. We start serving at noon." This was a major inconvenience as we were on very tight schedules and specifically selected an 11:30 at Supernova because the location and time fit properly into our schedule for the day.

They had the reservation. The atmosphere was very relaxed, there was no feeling of being rushed. The view was a typical New York scene, excellent! My nieces enjoyed it! The Lobster Mac 'n cheese was great!

Stunning view of Times Square and fun tourist-watching here inside a very busy Novotel. The menu is not thrilling (unless you love hot dogs) but food is decent, if pricey. Go for the view, there's even an outdoor balcony. Might get loud if there's a band, was quiet our night. Service was completely indifferent. Nice enough staff but mostly absent. guess they expect you to take your time. might as well - great view.

We did have a coupon for brunch, so it was a good deal. Bellini's and omelette and a delicious salmon Benedict were all good. The decor is modern space age. The elevator up was a little small and slow. Service to start was a bit slow but improved greatly, the waiter was nice and food came out promptly. They have a quite nice outdoor lounge area with a view towards Times Square. If I were around the area I would go again - especially if they have a good deal!

Supernova provides a great view of Times Square and is perfect for a nice summer day. However this fairly new restaurant still leaves much to be desired. While the waiters were very courteous the hosting staff was initially very rude when we asked if we could be placed at a table with a better view. The waiters kept waiting for us to be moved the result being a 30 minute wait before we could place our entrees.Overall the salmon Benedict was delicious and the croissants were some of the best I've had. However they misplaced one of my group members orders and had to bring it out much later. When it finally came out, it was still an incorrect order and had to be corrected again. While the food is great the service needs improvement

My wife, my kid and i went to supernova on saturday for bruch. Im going to be as delicated as i can with this review, since im very pro on second chances, but on the other hand, i have to be honest. Since we had a pulsd coupon , we were asked to print out our email with the code ( i never had done this since the onlything that restaurant o patron need is the code), but since it wasnt a big deal we didit After we were sat in a nice table with a nice view, but our waiter show up after ten minminutes or so, now , the place wasnt that busy but, i keep it cool. After we order the waiter didnt check our table to see that everything was ok. Everytime that we needed something, we had to raise our hand or call the attention of antone of the staff

Nothing we ordered came right. The menu is confusing. Everything was very slow even though it wasn't very crowded. The manager also seemed to just be walking around and was not very accommodating when we had questions/ requests.

We made lunch reservations here before a theater matinee. We picked it because we read about the view over Times Square. We found a coupon on a site called pulsd. The coupon reads "Bottomless Brunch for Two. $29.00. $100. value" When making the reservations we told them about the coupon. When we arrived they tried to sit us far back in the dining room, away from the windows and the view. Then a protracted discussion- the bottomless brunch apparently includes only a main course and 1 drink. Others suffered the same public embarrassment as they came in. Bottom line, a $27.00 breakfast for $29.00. Make no mistake - this is a hotel lobby coffee shop with a view. And an attitude. I won't be back and I won't use pulsd again.

Dined at Supernova in the Novotel Hotel before attending a Broadway matinee. The food was good (burger & salad for lunch) and reasonably priced for NYC. What makes this restaurant a real find is its spectacular view down Broadway to Times Square. The restaurant is located in the hotel's lobby so it can get noisy.

This French-run hotel chain's interpretation of American comfort food was odd. Hotdogs with Vietnamese banh mi ingredients ($9) just didn't work. The roast chicken my partner had was passable but pricey ($25) and mundane. They have a nice dining room but unfortunately left the lights on at at full brightness throughout the dinner. If they dimmed the lights, the room could have been romantic. I let the restaurant know in advance that this was a special occasion via the Open Table notes. They didn't seem to be inspired about it and never acknowledged it. This seems to be an ongoing problem with Open Table. Hosts never see the notes to the restaurant.

I dined here 3 times in total, once for breakfast and twice for dinner. Really fantastic place. The servers there were great, very nice and accomodating and they really work very hard to make you feel welcome without trying to be your friend, which is so refreshing. I loved the drinks, the atmosphere and the view is amazing. There is a terrace outside that wraps around the hotel, they had a fire going outside because it was a little chilly. I tried the melt and soup and it was really tasty, perfect for lunch even though I had it for a light dinner. Overall I thought this restaurant was nice and casual, affordable and easy-going.

The food for lunch was reasonable- $12 for soup and a sandwich . My husband had the $8 hotdog and a side of onion rings. Both meals were good. What makes this place special is the view. There are floor to ceiling windows looking down Broadway to Times Square. There is a balcony that goes around 3 sides of the building ,with comfortable couches ans chairs. In the warmer weather, this would be spectacular for drinks. Our only disappointment was that there were no donuts for dessert as advertised on the menu. The City needed to inspect the machine before they could use it. We would go back again.

Picked this restaurant for its proximity to theater we were attending. The food was delicious. Our server was friendly and responsive without being on top of us all the time. It was fairly empty so he had no problem with us waiting to digest before deciding we didn't want dessert. We did want dessert but they did not have the doughnuts so we didn't get anything. There were no advertisements outside showing us where to go so I think this restaurant is missed by many.
