  • "we love this restaurant for special occasions. This was our anniversary and we did not make a big deal about it while there. However, our waitress overheard us and when we got ready to leave, brought us a slice of cheese cake to take home with us. We thought that was nice. The food is wonderful, the staff was fantastic and the atmosphere was great. A good place to go for a special evening."

  • "Everytime my wife and I visit this place it is for a special occasions such as a birthday or what have you. Everytime we come here we are treated like royalty. Yes, the prices are very high, but you get what you pay for here and then some! I have had steaks from all over the world on my various travels, and this has got to be one of the best steaks I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. The ambience is great, as it feels like you were in a place Al Capone might have frequented. highly reccommended."

On this occasion, I met with the chair of our board of directors for a quarterly review, and could not have found a better place or environment to have a meeting, much less a meal. The service was impeccable; the steaks cooked to order (properly); and the server's knowledge of the wine menu was beyond anything I would have expected. Make the reservation - you'll not be disappointed."

  • "The steaks were outstanding, cooked perfectly. The side dishes were good. The asparagus and whipped potatoes were on the bland side. We like it roasted with olive oil, salt and pepper! I had a side of potatoes au gratin. It was a large portion and tasted ok but too exciting. We had the bread pudding for dessert. It was a huge portion and very good. Overall, the center of the plate and star of the dinner was the entree on its own. I would suggest ramping up the sides to wow the diners like the entrees do. The young lady that waited on us, Ericka I believe was her name, was spot on. She was knowledgeable about the menu and she along with the others that helped at the table, were very efficient and non intrusive. They did a great job!!"

My friend did have to send her oysters (appetizer) back because they were a lil gooey, but to her preference! Great place for special occasion, love the atmosphere!"

  • "We went for Valentine's Day lunch. The service was lacking. We ordered the shrimp cocktail which was not available. Our reservations were for 1200. There was a long wait between meal courses. We didn't get dessert because an hour half later, we finally got our main course. We didn't have time for dessert. We left at 1350. If it would have been a regular lunch hour, we wouldn't have had time to eat. We have had lunch twice before and not had previous problems. The ambiance is nice but for the price, I expect better service and better food availability."

  • "This was our first time to dine at Superior Steakhouse. Met some friends coming up from Gatesville . It was extremely busy. no problem. They got us to our table two minutes before reservation; however, they were out of oysters, out of rib eyes and out of Moscato. Said they had been overwhelmed. The sommelier finished us off with the last of a bottle of Perseco at no charge. Very nice . We will definitely be back. I had my heart set on aged ribeye :("

We had our favorite entrees and talked four hours about the concert. And we forgot that we live in Shreveport, at least for a night ;)"

We ran into a number of good friends and acquaintances in the cigar room and later at the bar. We spent the whole night talking and laughing and catching up. It was a great night.   • "Wonderful New Year's Eve dinner in good atmosphere. Upscale without being overly fussy. Filet was fork tender and served with one of the best crab cakes I have ever had (which is saying a lot since I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay) and the grilled Salmon was perfect. Our waiter, Nick, was the best! Unfortunately the music from the bar area overwhelmed the music in the restaurant so it was a little overwhelming….but…it was New Year's after all. Next time will request a table further away from the bar. The bar itself looked fun and inviting but we went straight to dinner. Reservations recommended."

  • "The restaurant itself was very nice and romantic, staff was absolutely incredible! However my husband and I were significantly let down by the limited menu. For the price we were paying we definitely expected a dinner at least somewhat better that our usual place. Unfortunately we were let down. He ordered the cajun chicken pasta and I the grilled shrimp with a side of mashed potatoes. The potatoes were the best part of our meal. I don't think we will be returning anytime soon."

I had the 7 oz filet that was cooked to perfection. I am not a potato fan but my friend ordered the potatoes au gratin and it was outstanding. The wine selection was extensive, I settled on a pinot grigio which was good. I will be back. My server was Sissy, she was friendly and attentive."

  • "My wife and I shared a wonderful dinner at Superior's Steakhouse. Louis was great. The grilled oysters and crab cake appetizers were delicious. My ribeye was cooked exactly as I like it. My wife enjoyed the grilled mahi. The atmosphere was very relaxing. Low key jazz and Sinatra style background music. No noisy guests, just people enjoying their evening. A perfect anniversary dinner."
