I had the zucchini sticks and my husband had the crab and lobster cakes (excellent)...we both had fish for our mains...well prepared though mine was a little heavy (this due to the preparation with butter--was still good; I just like lighter food and should have ordered accordingly). Nice wine list. We had lunch there the following day after a long hike...heirloom tomato and mozzarella sald was lovely! You can go pretty casual here, so nice for drinks and snacks after a hike, kayaking, etc. It can get cold at night so bring a jacket if you want to sit outside (they do have space heaters). While it was a buffet, the service was excellent--bringing drinks from the bar, clearing plates and making sure everything was just right. The food was very good as well. I think the desserts shoud have included more chocolate items as it was Mother's Day and women love their chocolate. Our favorite place on the West Shore! The service was exceptional! Archie, our server, was engaging and made wonderful recommendations for our dining experience. We sat next to the window at sunset... Breathtaking. When you combine such great food, lovely service and a panoramic view of Lake Tahoe...
