Diner Reviews
  • "Indian food good. Pasta dish very bland. Not busy which was good because they didn't receive the reservation"

  • "We received medium-sized portions of surprisingly tasteless food. The beef ribs were meaty bit bland. The seared salmon tasted like reheated frozen fish. Vegetables were broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots, also likely from a bag of frozen vegetables. At least it was not overpriced. Solid food, but definately nothing special."

  • "We had a fairly large group of 10 people and I emailed Sunny & Roses to secure a reservation for a Saturday 11AM brunch. I emailed back and forth with someone who confirmed the reservation. I called two days before to confirm the reservation again and learned that no reservation had been made. Fortunately, the lady who answered the phone was the waitress on staff that day and made sure a table was setup and she was great. In all fairness as well, they were not at all busy at 11AM but when you have a larger group, you want to make sure your party can be seated, so I was disappointed with the customer service initially. But again our waitress was very good and took care of our table. Thank you."

  • "We were there for valentines so it was a limited menu. The beef was delicious. It was cooked perfectly and SO tender. The potatoes and veggies were cooked perfectly. The salad was fresh and the dessert was excellent. I would have liked to try the chicken but two chicken breasts seemed like way to much food. We loved it and will definitely go back again soon!"

  • "As a neighborhood restraint I was expecting the classic American/Canadian fare but was thoroughly impressed by the menu and it's offerings. I chose an Indian dish that was spectacular. My wife had a burger which she enjoyed as well. Really a treat to have a restaurant like this in the neighborhood."

  • "This was my first time trying out Sunny and Roses, but It won't be the last! The atmosphere is a more open since the new owners re-designed the space. But while the ambiance is pleasant, the food is spectacular! We started with Calamari and Dry Ribs. The calamari was perfectly cooked, and accompanied by a home made Tzatziki sauce, and to be honest I have never been so impressed by dry ribs before! The breading was phenomenal! My entree was the special, Beef Curry. I did order some side veggies (lovely buttered broccoli, green beans, and carrots) since my main came with meat, Naan, and basmati rice. The curry flavor was great without being overpowering, and everything tasted incredible! I would highly recommend Sunny and Roses :)"

  • "This is our 3rd visit to this location. It used to be a favorite when it was Cosmo's. Food and service was excellent and we will return often."

  • "Lunch was delicious. The warm beet soup was very flavorfull. The home made battered onion rings were delicious. Service very friendly and helpful. Dinner. Appetizer platter for two was just okay. The chicken wings were tasty. Food was hot and service was good. The special for the night was a deep fried curried chicken and nan bread. Quite tasty for the right palette. The portion size for a special seemed quite small. I was expecting maybe a vegetable or some rice to go with the curried chicken."
