It was late in the day. We asked for an inside table - thank goodness we did. After the appetizer, the sky opened up and poured. Staff was quick to move other patrons inside. No one rushed us eating. We were escorted to our garden table-which totally blew me away. It was cozy, private and romantic,
I ordered the market salad and the fish -unusually name! I thought the salad was most unusual but didn't care for the flavors of the dressing- very unusual. I appreciated how unique it was- but my tastebuds weren't happy!!!! The fish, however was a completely opposite experience. Still thinking of how delicious and wonderfully prepared it was. My husband had the celery caesar and the strip steak. He was totally thrilled.

We were seated in a beatiful outdoor garden gazebo, overlook a koi/turtle pond. Jeannine, our server, was awesome. Fresh mimosas started us off, followed by the wonderful buffet brunch. Many choices, from oyster on the half shell, shrimp, eggs benedict, a carving station, you name it - they had it. Had to wait a little bit over an hour for our entree but when it came, the food was really good. We had great service. The outdoor areas are amazing, quiet, with huge trees and a brook. The food was exceptional and the service was even better -- never hurried but always attentive -- in the best European manner. The outdoor areas would be perfect for groups of 2-10, and it is quiet -- so older folks with hearing problems will feel very comfortable. One can actually have a conversation and hear what others are saying. This may be the best destination dinner spot from PB county to Miami. It was one of the nicest surprises that we have had in dining for a long time. The food was excellent with a really fun and interesting menu. We started with salads which was great with the very freshest ingredients. The tile fish was outstanding and the best fish I have had in a long time.
The atmosphere was amazing and it really made you feel that you were on vacation. As much as we enjoy Atlantic Avenue, it was really nice to be away from the busy atmosphere.
The service was quick and helpful. We were strolling through the gardens when our entrees arrived and the waitress came and found us to insure that our food did not get cold. A beautiful Victorian-style house and gardens just off of Atlantic Avenue in Delray Beach, with seating inside and outside. From the moment we saw the menu, we knew it was going to be a great dinner. We had the grilled octopus, followed by fresh fish (branzino and florida tile) and desert was grilled pineapple. Chef Lindsay stopped by our table to introduce herself, which made the dinner even more special. Sitting outside in the Taru gardens was relaxing and very enjoyable. The service was excellent and the chef inspired meals were very flavorful and all of us were able to find what we were looking for on the menu. The prices were reasonable for the outdoor ambiance and the quality of the food.
