  • "3couples came for Saturday brunch and we all enjoyed the beautiful gardens. Our service was wonderful and the food was outstanding. The only thing I was disappointed in was the lack of foods to choose from. This was our 1st experience with your Saturday brunch. I was expecting it to be more like your Sunday brunch. That brunch is never disappointing. Of course, the Saturday brunch is more affordable and lends itself to more times to visit. All in all, it was wonderful. Could you please let me know about your Christmas plans. I will have visitors and would like to treat them to your fabulous restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful time"

  • "Beautiful, historic property that just changed owners. Let's hope they continue to "up" their game. Few diners on Friday night, enjoying the peace and quiet and the well priced 3 course summer menu. Brought our son and his fiance for her birthday, and the experience was perfect. Although there was a wedding on property, we wouldn't have know it unless the hostess had told us. Because there are multiple rooms with different character, and beautiful outdoor spaces, this would be a lovely place for a group lunch or dinner. We'll definitely be back."

  • "Returning to Sundy House after many years was so disappointing. The building was tired and the food was so poor. My plank salmon was dry but edible but the zucchini "fritter" was soggy and bland and the cous cous was sticky and had no flavor. My husband's dinner had truffle fries that tasted so strong he was scrubbing the flavor off his tongue later that night. Our waitress was very efficient but kept saying "Okay" to everything- a bit weird!"

  • "You can choose from many food stations, from the seafood station, eggs station, carving station to ice cream station and a few more that I can't remember. The mimosas were great and the music was pleasant. I will definitely recommend it for Sunday's brunch."

  • "Went for Sat brunch! Excellent! Haven't been for Sun brunch but thought the selections were good with a nice variety! Service was attentive. However, there was a charge to have valet parking."

  • "So often a restaurant will build a reputation only to sit back and relax and rest on their fame. Not so with Sundy House. Their food is always exciting and innovative , and always fresh. Service is excellent with attention to detail without feeling any pressure. We actually took a break between courses to enjoy the gardens (which is a must, even if you've visited before) Not inexpensive by any means, but so worth the extra. Will definatley be back again, and again.....and again."

  • "I do not recommend the Saturday brunch. I have been to the Sunday brunch, it is fantastic. The Saturday brunch was a huge disappointment. There were very few items on the buffet and the only meat offering was roasted pork. I have never been to a brunch that had no bacon. I have always enjoyed this restaurant but was disappointed with the Saturday brunch. It was not what I expected by the advertisement."

  • "The gardens are beautiful and where we take our family pictures every year. Food is great also . However it took way over an hour to get our meals. The service is usually very slow but the other night it was ridiculous. They weren't extremely busy so not sure what the issue was."

  • "Service was outstanding. Place is very nice. Only complaint was the crab legs which we come mainly for. They were like cardboard and very salty. All else was perfect and wonderful."

  • "We enjoyed the food and ambience very much. Our service could have been better based on the type of establishment and the price of our brunch, but other than that it was great."

  • "What a beautiful place nestled in between the very busy Atlantic Ave. food and ambiance great!"

  • "We had the summer special which is a 3 course dinner for $35. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. The was a nice variety to choose from. We sat outside in the gazebo surrounded by beautiful landscaping."

  • "What is the point of having a beautifully romantic outdoor setting if you are going to seat very large and loud groups of people to ruin it for everyone else?"

  • "Sundy House was a great choice for our 10th anniversary. The ambience was very romantic. We were seated in a gazebo where we had privacy. Our meal was devine. We had mussels for appetizer then our entrees included the sea scallops and the pork chop. Both entrees were huge and both were delicious. Our server was a little slow plus it took 20 minutes before we finally found her to ask for our check. Otherwise, the dinner was great. We will definitely go back and I recommend this restaurant to anyone."

  • "Planned a nice relaxing Sunday brunch at the Sundy House and was really looking forward to it but was rather disappointed with the food. It is very overpriced, mediocre food at best. Can do better at home. However, the property is stunning, serene and relaxing. We were told you could use the pool but there weren't any chairs. Got the feeling it wasn't really encouraged. If we do go back, it will be for cocktails and appetizers only."

  • "As always we love Sundy House from the moment we step out of our car and hand over the keys to valet, to walking through the endless beautiful gardens, Ponds and walkways. The incredible Mango tree greets you right outside of the magnificent bar to an endless secret garden. The food was delightful and presented beautifully. Saturdays are usually reserved for weddings so some of the gardens and walkways are not available to use. The menu is quite expensive, the portion size is medium but overall a great experience and if you're looking for a romantic getaway, this is it!"

  • "Having read good and bad reviews we were a little hesitant to eat here. It was a Wednesday night during the off season and it was very quiet. However, the food and service were wonderful. Was disappointed with the bar area. Not cozy and didn't make us want to stay there for very long. Would recommend the restaurant though. The grounds are beautiful but it was wet when we were there so no one was dining outside."

  • "The ambience as always was beautiful. Service was good, as was the food. I have been here many times for brunch, I absolutely love it! Staff very friendly."

  • "The place was great, however expect about $100/person. They add a generous gratuite themselves, so be aware of that. Plenty of wonderful food to which you have 2 hours to enjoy while looking through the gardens. Lovey live music. Adult beverages included in the price. Was disappointed that the valet was an additional charge, however it was only $5. For $100 brunch though, they could have parked my car."

  • "My husband and I adore the Sundy House and have dined there many times. The food was always excellent and the outdoor ambiance cannot be beat. This last time we went for Date Night was far less than our expectations. The service was AWFUL. It took 20-25 minutes for our waiter to bring us our wine each time we asked for a glass. There were only five or six other tables occupied in our section. It was lightly raining off and on, so the outside tables were closed. It turned into a two hour waiting game. My husband ordered the salmon which was wonderful and he was pleased. I ordered the NY Strip Steak and it was OK... nothing special. The sauce on top of the steak was salty."

  • "Everything was great. Our server was wonderful and the food was terrific. We were a little disappointed that we could not eat in a gazebo due to the weather forecast, but were happy with the back up seating."

  • "Salads and desert was very good. The Brunch choices were not fresh or healthy. The meats were pork, canadian bacon, and breaded fried chicken. All artery stoppers. Greasy potatoes were also available. The place is gorgeous. The outside back gardens are incredible atmosphere for dining. The waiters were all very friendly and attentive. The owner- manager needs to address the menu choices for a healthy lifesyle and fit the pricing. You can get a better brunch at the pancake house for a fraction . Just get the kitchen right and you have a gold mine."

  • "Quaint place, great garden view. It was raining the evening we stopped in, but otherwise outdoor dining would have been great. Service and the food were fabulous. Sundy House is on our 'go to' list now."

  • "We were one of three parties, there were at least 6 waiters available but they were not attentive, we had to ask for eveything and then wait a long period of time. It was very embarassing since we brought a couple to celebrate and had played up how great the resturant was. The food was good but nothing special."

  • "My only disappointment was the restaurant's failure to acknowledge my wife"s birthday. After all that was our primary reason for this selection."

  • "A truly special Florida experience in both food and lush tropical foliage. The staff are lovely and great to deal with for special events. If you want to feel like you're on vacation, you must try it!"

  • "The flatbread appetizer was excellent. Pappardelle, Pork Chop and steak were all excellent. The service although adequate is not exceptional. We didn't return to this restaurant for some time (and booked parties elsewhere) because of their shortsighted policy of charging $5.00 (plus tip). The restaurant is taking advantage because there is no close street parking. Note the food costs with wine and appetizer come close to $100.00 per couple."

  • "Sundy House is one of the most beautiful places you can dine. The ambiance is amazing with ponds, tropical and lush gardens, the beautiful sound of the trickling pond until: BAM!!! LOUD OBNOXIOUS KEYBOARDS SCREAMING GRANDMA'S OLD ORGAN TUNES!!! I was there prior to the live music and fell in love. I would hesitate to go back until they ditch the girl singer and her two noisy friends with the instruments."

  • "Our first visit with Sundy house was great. Place is super romantic and the ambiance is great. Perfect date spot. Definitely sit in the garden and go on a nice night. Great staff, good food and close to atlantic ave if you want to go out for drinks after. "

  • "A beautiful setting, attentive, but not intrusive wait staff, and elegant ambiance made this a wonderful choice for celebrating my partner's birthday. We will surely dine there again."
    Dined on 6/3/2014
  • "The food was very good. There was no explanation of what was included or where the food was displayed. I brough my 80 -year old parents and it was a bit difficult for them to navigate throughout the rooms especially with the change in floor surfaces and levelness. A bit too dark for a Sunday brunch. It is also quite expensive - - espeially when no one explains what is included until after you order something. That being said, if you must go to brunch, Sundy House does a good job, but you pay dearly."

  • "My husband and I took his mother there for Sunday brunch. They had an extensive buffet that spanned two rooms. The food was very good and they had a Bloody Mary station that was excellent! We sat outside in the garden, which was lovely. "

  • "Every year around this time we go to Sundy House Brunch to celebrate my husband's birthday and our son & daughter-in-law's engagement - a tradition now since this is where we took them when they were first engaged a few years ago. Sundy House just gets better all the time. Food is excellent, Service could not be better, walking in the gardens afterwards is perfect. This year the weather was a little iffy so we ate inside, but still had a beautiful view and it was not too noisy at all. It could not have been any more perfect."

  • "Sundy house knows how to do a brunch! Everything is clean, they use the best ingredients and the food is always refilled. The bloody mary bar is also pretty fun!"

  • "I must said that the host provide what what requested regarding to have a table in one of their "gazebos". That was good. Food was good. Sorry to say that the desserts were not good. They offer Key Lime Pie, but they this not have it. They offer a substitute, but was no good. The good service from the waitress and others, kind of compensate for the poor dessert. Please correct tho deficiency because the place and clients deserve it."

  • "Sundy house has , perhaps , the most idyllic restaurant setting in South Florida. For this you are charged an additional $5.The food is less than stellar, however, $5 is not deducted from the menu price. I ordered the 3 course menu. The calamari, although perfectly cooked, was over-breaded. The fish ( Mahi-Mahi) was ordinary tasting with a nondescript sauce and a burned vegetable medley ( ? Bird's-Eye ). The key lime pie was less than stellar. My wife did not find her snapper particularly tasty. The server never inquired if we would like an after dinner coffee or tea. Perhaps it's not served. Overall, another mediocre South Florida restaurant in a beautiful setting. I dine out for the food, everything else is secondary."
