    Summit's private dining room features two large round tables that accommodate up to 11 guests per table, for a maximum of 22 guests seated comfortably. The semi-private table is located at the end of the main dining room with an optional pull down screen. At this unique setting, guests are still a part of the Pikes Peak-inspired dining room where wood, metal, glass, leather and fabrics evoke a modern, but comfortable ambiance. This option is ideal for parties between seven and 11 guests.

    *Parties larger than 14 people require specialized menu selections and reservations to secure the private or semi-private dining areas within Summit.

  • "A special birthday celebration. Looking out the spacious windows with the Broadmoor hotel as a backdrop made for a very romantic and scenic evening. The service was stellar from the moment we checked in for our reservation. The timing, presentation and flavors of our meal was impeccable. We chose items from both their seasonal and regular menu. A savory seasonal sampling plate to include a pork pate, duck liver mousse, pickeled veggies & apple butter was a fabulous start to our experience. The swordfish was presented beautifully and was ever so moist. We finished off the evening with a cardamom crème brulee accented with fresh seasonal fruits--both beautiful and tantalizing to the palate. A wonderful late summer meal in a beautiful setting."

  • "Like pretty much everything at the Broadmoor, this restaurant was very nice but quite expensive. At about $95 per person for dinner with a bottle of their most inexpensive wine and one drink, it was quite pricy. The food was very good though the swordfish was a bit overcooked. The lobster mac and cheese, on the other hand, was excellent. The mussels and escargot were also very good. The best part of the evening was the service which was certainly up to Broadmoor standards and is largely what keeps us coming back to this outstanding facility. All in all a very enjoyable meal."

  • "we always come for oysters and mussels well I went with the nite special beef bour...etc and it was poor. grease all around , looked like leftovers!!!!and small amt of potatoes and veg and the price was high. didn't ask but for a special wow!I did not care for the wheat sourdough bread. loved your crust french or white. we were seated on the bench, great view but the seats...but pads are so low, age has made deep pits where we sat. I was sitting so low to eat. we had our daughter from out of town and I did not want to make a scene. not sure anyone asked. my husband had the duck. meat perfect but lentals were too spice... thats all it came with it... sooo. we all went home hungry."

Part of this restaurant's success is the freedom they give the staff to create. I had an amazing cocktail that was invented by one of the bartenders - a summer cooler made of muddled basil, lime and cucumber with a little agave nectar and vodka. Fresh, fun and located at one of the finest resorts in the US. Go there!"

It has a lovely ambience, and the wine display as you enter the restaurant is very impressive. The appetizers were excellent, and the sommelier was very helpful in navigating the extensive wine list. Service was attentive without being obtrusive. A couple of my guests were disappointed with their entrees -- the angry trout and the roasted tenderloin. I and the other guests were quite pleased. I had the lamb shank, and it was wonderful."

The prices are a little high for our normal dining out but if we wanted to splurge, then the Summit would be the place to go.   • "We had ordered the salmon, duck and hamburger. I can speak for the salmon in that it was flavorless, with a half cut potato served with the salmon wrapped in bacon. My husband had the hamburger and he commented that the blue cheese overpowered the hamburger. He said that it tasted like a "blue cheese" sandwich. I expected better flavor and more food for the price. The wine was excellent. The service was also good."
