Good menu variety. Nice vibe. Attentive, engaged and fun staff with a focused but relaxed attitude. The food is good (I had The Burger, my wife had the Steak), neither was worth writing home about, and both were priced about twice what you'd pay at sea-level, but what do you expect from a restaurant that sits at 6800 feet and has to transport EVERYTHING 2500' right up the side of a snow covered mountain? The "steak fries" were, however, exceptional! Next time up I'll be asking to skip the burger and get $15 in fries! The scenic Gondola ride up is outstanding! The first little stretch up - last down - is really steep. It goes nearly straight up from the base up and over a ridge. Gone are the days of trying to find a spot to sit and then deal with a cafeteria tray in ski boots.
