Lobsters in varying sizes and styles including our signature clambake. Wonderful local grilled fish and crispy fried seafood. We do offer several non-seafood… items as well. "Quite a bit disappointed in the food. I've never had a "great" meal here; just adequate. It's no wonder that you would have a better chance at getting into this restaurant than the other 2 in the mall: Burton's and Rustic Kitchen."

"We had a really nice meal. The menu was varied so that there were new tastes (stuffed razor clams) as well as old favorites (mussels) for each of us. Even the crab cake, which would have been good on its own, was a delightful surprise when presented on a bean salad bed. Nice contrast to the subtle flavors of the crabcake. My boulliabaise was wonderful. My friend's scallops were artfully presented, and she said they were quite good. All in all, a delightful meal for the three of us."

"At least my third meal here and always a disappointment. On last trip the daily special fish (early in the evening) had been changed from Blue Fish to Mackerel, although it remained as Blue Fish on the black board and never announced by wait staff until I ordered. The menu clearly states that any of the daily fishes can be broiled, grilled, etc. and served with vegetables yet this seemed difficult to achieve. Overall always lacking and such a let down from the original Summer Shacks in the city."

"Went there on a Thursday night and much to our surprise it was "cheap date night". A three couse meal for two for $50... on the menu that night was their pan roasted lobster, a dish that never disappoints!!!"

"We have been to Summer Shack in Hingham quite a few times now. The service and food are always very good. The only issue anyone has had is that the menu is somewhat limited."
