The Summer Shack is a fun, casual, restaurant. Specializing in New England Style Seafood. We offer 10 to 12 different types of oysters daily. Lobsters in varying sizes and styles including our signature clambake. Wonderful local grilled fish and crispy fried seafood. We do offer several non-seafood… items as well. Steaks, burgers and award winning fried chicken. We are a children friendly restaurant and we can accommodate larger groups upon request. Continued

"RI style fried calamari (spicy & greasy) was overcooked and greasy. Ginger chile chicken wings tasted less like ginger and more like teriyaki - too salty. Angus burger with cheddar cheese may have been good if not for the soggy bun it was served on. Table guests who ordered the fried clams and 16oz rib eye steak raved about it. Our waiter was excellent AND patient."

"I used to go to the Summer Shack in Cambridge all of the time and loved it. Not sure what happened, but now the food seems like every other chain restaurant. The oysters were still delicious, but everything else was just plain boring. The waitress made a really inappropriate comment about her co-waiter being 'the only black man in the room, so he'd be easy to spot' - REALLY?? Maybe he doesn't mind being singled out that way, but it sure was a strange way to converse with a customer...We will not be return customers."

"Excellent for seafood/fish choices. Shamus was very attentive waiter and did an excellent job to please us! It was my mom's b'day and although we didn't order a dessert, he was creative in presenting whipped cream with a candle. Very well done!!!!!!"

"As with all Summer Shack this one offers great food and service.
The GM is as nice and welcoming as you could ever want. Our server was spot on.
The food is as good as fresh seafood gets.
Great to find this level of food and service this far out from Boston.
We will return."
