Was confused at drink order and dinner order also.
We ordered off the $39 special menu, choosing the filet medallions and shrimp scampi. But when the dish came there was no shrimp on it. The dish was good and we decided it wasn't worth sending back, which is always time consuming. We do enjoy the special menus that Sullivan's has, especially for special occasions. All four of us went with the 3 course meal for $40, with the men having a domestic beer and the ladies water and out the door was $230, with a $40 tip. So probably only somewhere we would go on special occasions, although I should have looked at the bar menu to see what was available there. Perhaps a bit too dark (heck getting old and trying to read a menu) inside the restaurant. Staff was energized and engaged. It is a little far from our home, but we loved the food, atmosphere and service last year, so he wanted to go again.
Place was packed! You need a reservation. Very lively but not chaotic atmosphere. Food was again super, but our server seemed a bit scattered. We were definitely lukewarm about him, and the servers on either side of us were much more engaging, so perhaps he just had an off night.
