Went here before going out to a musical. It is restaurant week, so score right? The meal was mostly good. The Vegetables were uninspiring. The meat was great. The Drinks although great took a long time coming. Bread arrived way after it should have and the waiter was confused after we pointed out that we got a wrong desert. Especially since we had agreed to an up charge for swapping out from the fixed menu. I know its restaurant week. However their showcase of who they are to us was flat.

I went before a show at the 5th Avenue for Seattle Restaurant Week. I never order a New York Steak but since that is what was on the menu, I got that. It was perfect. I was very pleasantly surprised. Definitely made me want to go back and try their other steaks. Service was great, very personable.

They did absolutely the best spicy calamari we've ever eaten and the appetizer size was enough for an entrée. The bread while hot was still in the experimental stage--needed some whole grains to make it worth the calories. My linguini primavera needed more of a selection of vegetables to add to the flavor and color. My husband had the New York steak--thin but quite tasty. The Caesar salad was drenched in a weak dressing -- definitely needed something to jazz up the taste. The wait staff was friendly and efficient.

We go often to the Sullivans in Tucson but this was our first time at Sullivan's in Seattle. I have many fond memories of the old USG which was in that location for many years. My meal was wonderful: beginning with a perfect martini, through deliciously fresh oysters, to perfectly prepared lamb chops. My wife claims her sea bass was the best she had ever had. The quality of the food and proximity to ACT and the 5th Avenue theaters will draw us back frequently.

This was our first time to dine at Sullivan's. The food was good. The service was exceptional. It was theatre night so our server made sure we were ou in plenty of time and she. Made good recommendations for us to order. They are on Passport Dining so it makes it even more affordable. We might try their Happy Hour next go around. They do need to order small plastic bags for their to go boxes so they don't leak. We would go back.

I arrived & told the server that I wanted to take my time for a leisurely dinner. I ordered a martini. When he brought it he asked if I was ready to order. I again told him that I just got my martini and wanted to enjoy that first. He came back two more times before I drank my martini. On the second time I ordered an appetizer. When my dinner comes out from another server there is only a steak. I ate half of my steak before the original server came back and he told me that he did not put the order in. What an outcome for simply wanting to have an pleasant meal. I would have thought that they would have offered to rectify the matter with me in some fashion. They did not. I will not go back as there are too many great alternatives.

Unfortunately the food was just ok. The presentation was fairly plain, and so was the food. I had the $42 fixed price meal. The shrimp were a little mushy, the lobster bisque was good, and the beef filet was sadly on the tough and greasy side for a filet. It reminded me more of a NY Strip. The service and decor was definitely a cut above the food quality. I noticed the recent reviews of this restaurant were mixed. I now understand why.

The special that my husband ordered--2 four-ounce fillets--were maybe two ounces total. A complete joke and of course he left hungry and had to eat again. Absolutely ridiculous and they should be embarrassed. Our server spent what felt like 15 minutes going over the menu in excruciating detail, like we'd never seen one before. We had a fixed amount of time for dinner because we were going to a show (told her at the outset about our time constraint) so we already knew what we wanted, but she wouldn't have any part of abbreviating her menu recitation. We had to leave before we could have dessert, which she seemed surprised by--we allocated 90 minutes for dinner which should have been plenty at 5 pm. Will be hard pressed to go back.

Went here with our whole family for my dad's birthday and had a great time - the restaurant was full and we were right in the middle of it, close enough to the bar to hear the live music, it was a great atmosphere. Wish the lighting had been a little dimmer, it was pretty bright and it kind of took away from the "nice restaurant" vibe. Waitress was very nice and attentive, she had a lot of help and we were always taken care of which was nice. Would definitely recommend this and will definitely go again - we all had the chef specials and they were delicious.

I have been to this restaurant at least 25 times and have spent just under $5k. Unfortunately over the past year that has changed dramatically to every third visit was a good meal, though even times that the food was not great the interaction with the staff and management made it a little less negative. I have completed several, mixed typically but lately very negative. My Fiancee and I were shocked to receive an email from the General Manager, Justin Rammer that was extremely rude, condensing and accusatory. Needless to say he got a detailed response and a chance to remedy his position, he chose to give a false apology with further reasons for his original email. Del Frisco's Corporate was contacted and they are handling this further.

I have been here at least 5 times and as a lover of Del Frisco's in Colorado, Sullivan's is not even close. Two of the 5 times I had to send the steak back. This last time my 12 year old son sent his back too. The summer fling I just had the other day was not so good, lobster was very chewy except a loose piece that put on top, the steak didn't have much flavor. I think I am done coming here because they aren't consistent enough for me.

We knowtist this and think is was a great thing for GM to do table checks but needs to consistent . To many tables for server to give above average service . He was a good server but didn't give above average table service because he had to many tables. Thing like proper table bussing thru out meal .inconsistant garnish for drinks first beer with lemon garnish second none .Really to salty for price steak was tough but cooked great . if the general manager made rounds to new guest she I would have told her myself .

Got the three course "sure thing" selection. I've been to fancy establishments where you have to order a bunch of sides to make your meal filling. Between the bread and the "sure thing" I couldn't finish my steak. My wife had the sure thing as well and I found her filet minion was better than the strip (shocking). Good selection of local spirits including a gin from Everett that was great. Their signature drink was excellent as well. I drank to many and can't remember what it was called. The bourbon steak sauce was delicious.

I have dined at Sullivan's Steakhouse over 25 times and each time I have had an excellent experience. The staff is attentive, courteous, engaging and usually a manager will stop by to ensure I am having pleasant experience. Usually, I am dining before a show at the Paramount, The ACT or the 5th Avenue Theaters and on the occasions where we have left-overs from our dining experience, Sullivan's is more than happy to refrigerate and hold our food for pick up after the show. The steaks are always great and the menu offers many delicious choices. The bar is also phenomenal!!! I always recommend Sullivan's to any of my friends who ask about dining in Seattle.

Read the good reviews on Open Table so my wife and I decided to try this place. We arrived early so very few dinner customers (bar was full). Nonetheless, we were walked all the way to the back of the restaurant (quite a long walk) to the table right next to the kitchen entrance door, despite there being at least 10 to 12 open tables in that section of the restaurant. Server got my soup order wrong; bread removed from the table just before delivery of the entree (I've never seen that before); and "healthy" salad was inedible. Won't visit here again.

Sullivan's presents itself in the image of a great, old school steakhouse, reimagined with modern ingredients, prepration, and style. My wife and I had a really exceptional meal here on a Sunday night (Half off on wine on Sundays! Imagine a $100 bottle of wine for $50!). My steak was an excellent cut, perfectly done, my wife's salmon the same. It's a bit pricy, but you understand why when the food is served. It's well worth it.
