  • Catering: Spanning two stories, the layout includes a dedicated lounge with cozy booths, cocktail tables and bar top seating for 20. The sprawling, handsomely appointed main dining room is filled with colorful paintings, crisp linens and fresh flowers with seating for 200 Seattle diners in comfortable booths or at spacious tables on the main floor. The downstairs private dining room features 10’ drop screen and State-of-the-Art Audio visual with seating for 50. A dramatic staircase leads up to a second private dining room to accommodate 75 of your closest friends, clients or business partners.
  • Entertainment: Sullivan's Steakhouse offers live music Monday-Saturday in the lounge. You can find Seattle's best musicians playing the baby grand piano accompanied by up-right bass, guitar or a full trio. The party really gets started on Thursdays at "Swingin at Sully's" when happy hour goes all-night long.

  • "Sullivan's is a "can't go wrong" choice for a very good steak dinner. It's on par with places like Ruth's Chris but it's not a top-line place like John Howie or Daniel's Broiler. If you're sensitive to glutin, then Sullivan's is an excellent choice. They have many gluten-free choices, and the menu makes that very clear. The drinks and appetizers a good. We had Moscow Mules and traditional Martinis to start. I tried the braised beef ravioli which was very good. Consider trying the aged steaks or the prix fixe menu. Both have interesting choices. The steaks we ordered were cooked exactly as ordered. The side dishes (brussel sprouts and mashed potatoes) were good but not memorable. Overall a solid steakhouse."

  • "My girlfriend and I went here during Seattle Restaurant week and were beyond impressed. From the moment we sat down we felt welcomed and cared for. Our server, Jason, was great. He took the reigns in helping us with a perfect wine selection and really made the evening special. We ordered a filet and New York strip- both phenomenal. Our sides were mushroom and mashed potatoes- superb. This topped with desserts of chocolate mousse and banana's foster. It was the perfect evening, with great food."

  • "We were going to ACT and since it was the first night of Seattle Restaurant Week, we checked to see what restaurants were participating that were close to the theatre and Sullivan's was the closest. We'd never been there before but it was great! Filet mignon and salmon were cooked perfectly and the starters, sides, and desserts were all excellent. A terrific value for $28. Some restaurants downsize portions for Restaurant Week but not here. (Steak sizes are spelled out and you can get bigger cuts for additional cost.) Excellent service from Jason and Justin and the rest of the team. The pineapple infused martini was a Knockout (that's what they call it!). They even stored our leftovers in the bar fridge for after the show!"

  • "Went for 2 bday celebrations. Nice of them to take a picture and print it with a card. But the photo was taken twice and both times the picture was sooo dark. Get a better camera or maybe a better experienced photographer . Food was ok but not spectacular. Would probably go back for drinks at the bar and live entertainment."

  • "When we walked in for our dinner reservation on a Thurs night we had to crowd surf through the bar's happy hour to get to the dining room. We found the dining room was rather loud from the noise of the other areas, although we were seated in an empty section. Ordered a steak well done and it was great in the center but the outside/edges were sooty. Sides seemed a bit bland. Service seemed "average". I'd return there again, but would have lower expectations than previously."

Sevice was great. The drinks were great. Only knock was they didn't recognize that we had an open table reservation."

  • "After a somewhat sketchy experience with a problematic waiter a few weeks ago, we went back. This time it was everything a good steak house should be. The food was great and the service was perfect. I am glad we were able to put the one bad experience behind us, thanks to the management. Sullivan's is a neighborhood restaurant for us and it is nice to have it back on our list of preferred places. When you go, and you should, please try the calamari. They have a new twist and it is delicious!"

  • "Let me qualify my review with the admission that I did not have steak at Sullivan's when we had lunch there 3 days ago; I had a Mediterranean salad with salmon and my friend had the steak salad. Mine was very good and my friend said his was as well. The ambiance was pleasant; not too busy and the service was also very good. Our server noted that we had a small time problem and made sure we got our food and our check without delay.The location is very convenient. I shall dine thee again 1 day."

  • "Made reservations a week out, restaurant called to confirm, this was nice. Night of reservation we asked to move reservation up 45 min, they were happy to accommodate, which was nice. Got to restaurant, was seated immediately. Server spent a lot of time during drink order trying to upsell on alcohol. During dinner order, server seemed unfamiliar with all of the dishes and had a hard time explaining them all. Meal was ok. Steak was cooked correctly but was uninspired in presentation. Flavors were ok but should have been better for their price point. Manager stopped by table but this was formulaic and without authenticity. Overall, an ok meal, ok establishment, probably won't be back because of dining experience vs. price point."

My boss remembered having your Calamari and everyone said it was the best they had to date. A commemorative photo, dessert on the house, but thankfully no corny singing and clapping. :) My friend decided this is THE place downtown for birthday and other special lunches.   • "My husband and I had a fantastic dinner for our Anniversary at Sullivan's. Every staff person from the hostess to the GM congratulated us and welcomed us to the restaurant. Service was impeccable. The seafood, steaks, and dessert were all prepared perfectly. The bottle of wine that we chose was decanted and complimented every part of our meal. It was a fun and delicious evening. We were prepared to spend a few hundred dollars and a few hours celebrating, so it was not a shock to see the bill or the time when we finished our dessert and coffee. I have been to The Met, Brooklyn, Morton's... Sullivan's is better. We can't wait to book our babysitter and go back for "date night"!"

  • "Last Friday I took a colleague out to celebrate her professional achievement for passing the architectural exam and becoming an Architect. The staff, knowing of the occasion, discretely arrived at our table to share in the celebration. The service was excellent and the food prepared beautifully. Complementing our celebration with dessert was like icing on the cake. My Colleague Sarah enjoyed her moment and the Staff made it memorable. Thanks Again and I look forward to my next lunch at Sullivan's."

  • "Took my 15 year old granddaughter (who loves steak) for a birthday dinner. It was early, so the restaurant was fairly empty when we got there. Our waiter showed up and it was immediately apparent that we were going to be rushed. He was hyper, impatient, came to take the orders way too soon, questioned our choices of "rare" meat with a sneer, took my drink away before I was finished, etc. etc. Felt like I was at Denny's with a line of patrons at the door. In addition, the music they were playing was awful. It was too load, had a thumping beat and was not really steak fancy house music. Even my granddaughter commented on it, so it is not an age thing!"

So I was taking my sister in law for a wonderful dinner there Saturday night. Unfortunately, her salmon was way over done and my steak was not the very best.
