The attention diners receive makes for a special evening without being overwhelming. If you're looking for a quiet place for a romantic dinner, consider Sullivan's. The food is brought out fresh and hot, but not before you're finished with the previous course. And in between courses, the staff always make sure you have everything you need (bread, drink, etc.). Every time I've dined at Sullivan's, I've always been pleased and never disappointed."

  • " We have had a second home at Ironwood Country Club for almost thirty years. This is our first trip to Sullivan's. We only went because our neighbor in Livermore CA was on a golf trip here and asked if we would recommend Sullivan's.....told him we'd never been....he tried you and said "best bone-in rib ever".....so we made a reservation.....glad we did....we go often to Morton's and Mastros while in the desert and now....they become 2 and 3 on our list....so happy with our dining experience!"

  • "After enjoying a few drinks in their bar during happy hour, we were led to a fabulous booth where we could take in the whole scene. We both ordered from the Prix Fixe menu, filet and salmon which were both perfectly cooked as we requested. Enjoyed the huge shrimp cocktails and waiter even brought extra blue cheese and bacon for my wedge salad. We had an extra loaf of bread but should have save room for dessert as Key Lime pie looked amazing. Best news was that the manager let me use a coupon for $20 off, for taking a survey last year. Also, no charge to join their rewards club to save $25 next time."

  • "My husband and I went for Palm Springs restaurant week it was absolutely amazing. My husband had the stuffed sole topped with burre blanc it was delicious it was moist not over cooked at all. I had a rib eye steak and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was very nice I don't know her name because she wasn't around that often. The only bad thing was I seen the Manger stop at every table at one time or another and she never stopped at ours I thought that was rude."

  • "Sullivan's was our favorite of the several places we visited during Restaurant Week. My dining companion and I both loved the 8-oz filet, perfectly grilled to medium rare. The wedge salad was crisp and fresh, with just the right amount of blue cheese and dressing on the side. The key lime pie was yummy. Wine prices were reasonable. The manager visited our table to say "hello" and gave us a $20 coupon for a future visit -- a nice touch. The adjacent bar is very energetic, especially on Thursday and Sunday evenings when there is live music. Our request to be reseated further from the action was happily accommodated."

The food was so good my wife has never liked beef said she could become a steak lover after tasting theirs. The service was outstanding. The whole staff there was a part of our anniversary. The Filter Mignon was cooked to order, the Wedge salad was the best we have had in the Desert, and the service was very attentive. The ambience was lovely. The Manager stopped by our table and gave us coupons for our next visit. We will be back."

  • "The Coachella Valley has no shortage of steakhouses, and we were very glad that we chose Sullivan's. The ribeyes we ordered were cooked perfectly and were we'll trimmed with no fat at all to be discarded. The sides and appetizers were also done exceedingly well. Our server Martin was a very attentive young man who took excellent care of us. I highly recommend Sullivan's Steakhouse!"

It is hard to believe it is part of a chain. it is just downright consistently good and staff make you feel at home and happy to be there. They know how to treat their customers."

  • "In a market that is glutted with the likes of Ruth's Chris and Mortons, LG's and the Chop House, this steakhouse does not stand out. No bacon on the wedge salad? Is this a new trend? Not the first time we've encountered it, but certainly not traditional. The steaks were perfectly good and the room is much more casual than others although the prices are right up there. Staff was almost over-attentive. For a special occasion, we'd prefer one of the others but if you want to pay as much but dress down...Sullivan's might be just the spot."

  • "The food was ok. The steak was flavored nicely but was a bit dry. Order it cooked one less than your norm. My medium was closer to medium well. If you are in Palm Desert there are a number of other steak houses priced about the same but with better cooked, more tender steak. If you want a busy bar scene this is apparently the place as it was filled on a Sunday night and very noisy."

  • "Everyone greeted us when we walked in. The servers all looked happy to be there and to serve us. Even though the restaurant got full towards the end of the meal, we were not rushed to leave. The food was exceptional. The filet was tender and the smores dessert was really unique and wonderful. Nothing but smiles on the servers when we arrived and we left smiling!"

  • "We have been to our Naperville, Illinois Sullivans several times and found it to be good food but here the fish was bland and 2 steak orders were wrong. They replaced the steaks but potatoes were cool and meat (while done correctly) was not a great cut. We will not go back when there are so many restaurants in the valley."

  • "This used to be one of my favorite steakhouses but no more. I was recently there with a group and we were all disappointed. The service was absolutely awful. The server got our orders wrong and was never around. The steaks were satisfactory but the seafood was horrible. We ordered oysters on the half shell. Some of the oysters that came out were literally as big as a nickel. Other restaurants would not have served such undersized oysters. They did not have Main lobster nor do they have prime rib or porterhouse steak. The final reason for never returning is the completion. Down the street now is a Mastero's streak house and a little further away is a Morton's. If you want a first class experience visit them. Sullivan's days are over. "

  • "First I would like to say that or waitress Ashley was great. She was very attentive, pleasant and efficient. The only problem we had was when the swarm was used on our table. This is a technique used to prepare your table for the serving of the main meal. At this time a group of personnel swarm your table and clear it for the serving of the main meal. Unfortunately some of us hadn't finished eating and did not have any utensils, bread or napkins when the main meal was served."
