  • "We know holiday experiences in restaurants can vary from the day to day experience. We were satisfied overall and will go back. We though it was pricey for the menu, shrimp was over cooked and tough. It took over 20 minutes to get our soup/salad after we ordered and that seemed long. We were early and they seated us anyway and were patient as we waited for the rest of our party of 10. Staff was very friendly and worked hard."

The service was great, from the Hostess to the Server to the Manager stopping by to make sure everything was OK. I asked the server how the steaks were cooked, and she described it to a T. The food itself was excellent. I cant wait to go back again."

Manager said they had a "large party" - which is really a terrible excuse for making a business dinner stretch to over 3 hours. The waitress was very nice, apologetic."

The food is good, and Brian kept it coming at just the right pace, waiting until we were finished with one course before bringing the next without rushing or waiting. While we went for a special occasion, it was not stuffy or pretentious. We had a great time."

  • "Waitress was not on top of drinks and ordering food, no where to be found first hour there. Had to request service from other staff often. Bread was not cooked and second attempt was not better. Steak all though good tasting, was more then 50% fat and under cooked. Thankfully I can take it kicking too! Would have rather just had smaller cut of meat. Waitress did offered to get a new one, but we couldn't see waiting any longer. We were there 3.5 hours, table also wasn't ready when we got there and missed our music after, thought we could catch some music in the lounge after but band was gone by the time we finished. Soup and salad very good. Probably wouldn't eat there again, too many other good steak houses for same price in Denver!!"

  • "amazing filet. close to the best or best i've ever had. jazz in the bar!! the restaurant is large and packed with tons of people. that would be my only complaint is that it's so jam packed. we ate in the dining area. next time maybe some drinks in the bar first to listen to the jazz and then try to request a more secluded table. food was amazing, service was great. wine was great. pricy but worth it"

  • "We went for restaurant week and were seated in what is called the side car. It was like sitting in a broom closet. I thought it was upscale and dressed accordingly but we could have worm sweats and a T shirt and fit in. We had salads which were the best part of the meal.Our steaks were cooked right but were filled with fat and gristle. The mashed potatoes had huge lumps and Button Mushrooms didn't taste good. We each had a glass of wine . Our bill was a little over $100 for two which I though for restaurant week was a bit pricy. We had a good waitress who was very attentive but didn't make up for our experience. We will not return. Too bad as I though the point of restaurant week was to earn new business."

  • "We visited Sullivan's during Restaurant Week, always extremely busy. Great value at Sullivan's, large salad, nice sized entree, and the best dessert. The Banana's Foster bread pudding is the best dessert I have had in quite some time. My filet was a bit under, but I was afraid it would be overcooked if I requested Medium. I could have sent it back, but I only needed to eat half of it, so I took the remainder home and had a nice lunch. The cauliflower is surprisingly really good. The server was very nice, and efficient even though they were so busy."

  • "We eat at Sullivan's about every other month and have always found the service to be impeccable and the food always on point. Unfortunately, due to 5280 week, you could tell the lack in service. Upon arrival, out of 3 hostesses, not one acknowledged us. I had to speak first while they stared blankly at me. After being sat, I had to bring my coat up to the hostess stand and ask for it to be checked (I have never had this happen). The hostess rudely told us to go over to the coat check to take care of it. We had to ask for water at our table (received 20 minutes after we sat). I asked for medium rare (received rare) which has never happened and I had to send back. We will be back, but not for 5280."
