But then they made up for it with extremely good service and extra attention. Appetizers were terrific, lamb chops were superb. My ribeye tasted great but was a bit tough but seasoned well and cooked properly
Nice touch as they comped us on a few items for the initial neglect and also took our picture after dinner to celebate our annivesary.

The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and special. The food was fantastic and the wine list was extensive. They even comped the dessert for our celebration. Our table was ready, we were seated quickly, the meal was comfortably paced, and the food was excellent. This was our first time at Sullivan's (we live two hours away), and our server failed to mention that the side dishes are large enough to share easily between two, maybe three people. We might have ordered differently with that in mind, but it was all good. The filets were cooked perfectly and the meal was presented attractively. Sullivan's is has opened its menu up to some less costly times and had a younger crowd on Friday than we had ever seen. Service is still exceptional and not too hurried.
The atmosphere is great, service exceptional and the food was good to very good.
Closing the windows/blocking off the wine library cut down noise in the room which was most welcome.
The pre-fixe menu had wide enough options for most...seafood and red meat are the order of the day. The inclusion of a salad with a regular menu main course was a nice addition.

This time, for our wedding anniversary. The Hostess staff are always very friendly. Upon our welcome, they noted that it was our anniversay, wished us well, and seated us at a nice table for two. The waiter also acknolwedged our special occassion and there was even a card signed by the GM and all staff at the table which was a nice touch! Fillet Mignon was excellent as was my wife's Cedar Plank Salmon. They even comped us a dessert - another very nice touch. Overall, a great meal, excellent service from people working in all areas, and a memorable evening. We had dinner on the patio , however the weather was a little chilly. The staff made it most comfortable by lighting the heating towers and closing off the patio. My group had a great time. It was my husband's birthday and they went above and beyond to help me celebrate it. We had wonderful pineapple martinis, delicious steak,salad, and very good key lime pie. They put a candle in it and didn't charge us for it. They also took a picture of us together and printed it out and put it in a card signed by the staff.
