The choice was small but sounded delicious, and we were happy with what we received but not blown away. The meat and crabcake on the benedicts was superb, but the english muffin was impossible to cut, and our serving of fruit was 6 small pieces of melon. The staff was attentive but not bothersome, helpful when choosing our dinner selections, and knowledgeable about the menu items without having to 'check on it' (a particular peeve of mine). They were a very professional and well-trained staff that worked well together. The place is really nice but booth could use a little bit more space (thight squeeze to get in and out of table). At time the noise level (music) was a bit high but not terrible. The staff was quick. Their warm bread, so fresh and great while waiting for the starters. Onion soup was having a nice amount of cheese and the cheese steak eggrolll came with an interesting sauce. The filet medaillons came with a bordelaise sauce (french style, not New Orleans) and meat was cooked just as ordered. From the moment we arrived, we had great service, a romantic enjoyable atmosphere and a good time. The food as has been every time I've been was excellent. I highly recommend the ahi tuna tartar if you like that sort of thing - YUM! They asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and since we were celebrating our anniversary they offered and took a wonderful black and white photo of us. Then they gave it to us as a gift in a lovely "happy anniversary" card/frame signed by the staff that night. That was a nice extra touch, a little lagniappe. The service was outstanding!! We were going to the Elton John concert and everyone knew we were on a time schedule.
