Frankly, the best steaks in Baltimore can still only be found at The Prime Rib. For the money, you'll have a better meal at Mortons or the Capital Grille. The wine list is superb though.

We all (6 of us) enjoyed our meals at Sullivan's. There only things I would correct are as follows. I requested a round table and changed the reservation from 7 to 6 people. They put us at a round table set up for five and squeezed in a sixth place setting after we were seated. This made for a very cramped dining experience. The food was quite good however we all felt the mushrooms were very over salted. Everything else was quite tasty and the peanut butter dessert was big enough for six of us to split. I would definitely go back again.

Dined before seeing the Cirque show at M&T Bank Stadium. Let our server know we had a timeline and she kept us right on track. Filet was cooked perfectly and I chose to top it with the Pepercorn sauce which was also outstanding. I will be going back!

Food and service were very good. Good fit for a younger more hip crowd. The only minor issue was that I called the day before my reservation to move the table count up one person and move the reservation time back 15 minutes. The day of my reservation someone called me to confirm my reservationa and they had no record of my call or the changes, slightly annoying. We arrived on time and then had to wait for 15-20 minutes. Understandable I guess, given the fact that the restaurant just opened and it was packed.

This was a most wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere and decor were truly outstanding. The food was prepared to perfection. The platter presentation caught the eye so that the food caught the mouth. My first dish experience was the lunch Salmon served with garlic mash potatoes and a medley of of vegetables. Truly a wonderful light dish. On another occasion I ordered the meat loaf. I found it quite unusually prepared with a zest of blue cheese throughout. Very tasty. Lastly, I had to try the steak. Well I ordered the lunch Ribeye. No disappointment here. Medium cooked to perfection. So juicy and delicious I almost could not achieve my normal discipline on this type of meal where I only eat half. The wait is staff #1.

Excellent in most respects. The wine list is excellent (albeit, annoyingly pricey), liquor drinks made to order with guest preferred liquors no problem, main and side courses excellent, very nice ambiance and comfortable chairs. Wait staff was over reaching -- too many unnecessary interruptions to the table conversation. Unfortunately -- and these are small distractions from the overall experience -- the bread served at the outset of the meal was stale, and the desserts were not distinguished in any way. For the overall price of dinner, parking should be completely covered except tipping.

I found the restaurant to be very noisy. Unlike other steakhouses in the area, (Capital Grille, Flemings). The food was just alright. Our waiter was very attentive and informative. The music in the restaurant area was too loud. Music that loud is more appropriate for the bar area.

Overall, food was excellent. The starters, specifically the lobster bisque and French onion soup, were hearty, well seasoned, and delicious. The salad, which essentially consisted of a quartered wedge of iceberg lettuce with blue cheese dressing, left something to be desired. As entrees, we got the Ahi tuna steak (which comes prepared in 2 ways), the shrimp scampi served over a bed of noodles, and a daily special steak. Each dish was carefully prepared and outstanding in taste and presentation, and was served at the correct temperature. For desert, we sampled the warm chocolate brownie cake with vanilla bean ice cream, and the bananas foster bread pudding with caramel sauce and vanilla bean ice cream. Both were outstanding, and well w

I absolutely loved the food. They made accomodationg for a special menu request. the portions were more then enough. The ambiance was wonderful, rich dark tones low lighting set a great mood for our evening. Service was prompt and friendly, even the valet service. My only less then positive comment is that the jazz they played over the PA system was perfect but was a bit too loud. It made me feel like I was raising my voice to speak to the members of our party and the wait staff. Over all it was a lovely dinning experience and I will definitely return in the near future. I have already recommended it to several friends 3 of which will be dining there this Sat. Sullivan's will be added to my very short list of prefered dining venues.

Beautifully appointed restaurant with a strong '40s film-noir vibe. Where's Mitchum, you'll wonder as you light up your Camel. Anyhow, comparing say to Mortons, I'd say it outperforms that venerable establishment in all areas except water; ours, from the tap, had an off taste to it. The meat was comparable, maybe better; the salad simple and vivid and came with the entree. Great horseradish mashed, and superb sourdough bread, not that oversweet, crumbly stuff Morton's offers. In short, it was a spectacular steak dinner, and offers either the best or the second best (after Linwood's) vodka martinis in town. I just wish there'd been more beautiful people and fewer clowns in jeans and T's. But that's Baltimore's fault, not Sullivans.

The food was AMAZING ( steak AND seafood - - especially the ahi tuna and swordfish ) ...the service was awesome! The only oddity was the manner in which they have the women servers/hostesses dress....it was a little over the top with fish net stockings and really short skirts....we wondered why the men weren't told to wear just as revealing clothing!?
