But best of all, dessert! Their pastry chef is amazing, and the carrot zucchini cake was the best dessert I've ever eaten. Honestly! Please enjoy this gem of a restaurant tucked in such a quiet little corner that all but those "in the know" might miss!"

Special menu option was super affordable and just the right amount of food. 3 options for the first course (salad/appetizer), 3 options for 2nd course (main dish) and the entire dessert menu to choose from for dessert. All for $17.76. Hard to beat that price for such gourmet food. Loved it as always."

  • "I decided to try out Sugo after seeing it repeatedly pop up on OpenTable for the past two years or so. I went for my birthday with a few friends and we were very pleased. The menu is small, but flavor, freshness, and variety make up for it! The small plates were outstanding - table favorites were the meatball and the bacon-wrapped dates. Norbert, our excellent server, make fantastic entree suggestions. I felt the prices were reasonable, and the desserts and cocktails were amazing (the chocolate cake was superior!!). I will definitely be back, whether it be a special occasion or a date night out. A positive and memorable dining experience."

  • "We drive an hour to eat here for our anniversary every year! Mr. and Mrs. Castelluci are so friendly and take great pride in their restaurant! The food is exceptional. This time I had the Wild Alaskan salmon and it melted in my mouth. My husband had the eggplant parmesan. The portion was large (great for leftovers), and the dish was very delicious. We had wonderful service!"

I pass it everyday to and from work and decided to give it a try. Great Italian Restaurant. The meatball appetizer is to die for. Good drinks. Great dishes. We had the lasagna and the lamb dish. Both delicious! Peter, our waiter, was awesome!! He is very kind, well spoken, and knowledgeable about the menu. Good times!!"

I used Open Table and made a reservation at Sugo and our table was ready when we arrived. A great atmosphere and friendly staff was a good start to the evening.   • "This was our second trip to Sugo's, but this time we brought our 11 and 8 year old daughters. While we did wait a bit for a table (it was Saturday night and I had pushed our reservation back an hour), once seated we were greeted quickly by our server. She was very accommodating to our daughters. The food was excellent again - lobster and pasta for me and my oldest, lasagna for hubby and pasta with alfredo sauce for the youngest. Of course, as soon as we heard squash blossoms were available we ordered them. First time for our kids to try and they loved them. The owner came and spoke to them as individuals. He also sent over gelato after the meal, which was super nice. They loved it!"

We had the Scallops Picata - done to perfection. And the small plate crispy Artichokes. OMG out of this world. We finished it off with BREAD Pudding in a jar - could not believe how good that was. The either executive chef or owner stopped by to ask about our meal. All in all a great experience. We will go back. Loved it."

Only negatives were a bit of a wait between app and main course, and not enough calamari (very good though) Food was terrific. Pan sauteed swordfish was best I've ever had (moist, terrific flavor). Scallops were excellent as was Aunt Lena's chicken. Also had lasagna. Great as always. Couple of us had room for dessert. Bread pudding and Zucchini cake were both superb. The owner, Federico II (Mr. C.), came by as always. His enthusiasm and deep love of his craft makes every visit to Sugo's special."

  • "Food is outstanding, owner stopping by to check in at every table is a level of concern that is too rare, our wait staff was having a bad night but everyone is off once in a while. Decor is nice, you feel like your welcomed into the space and everyone there cares you have a nice experience. Food is really good, everything fresh makes such a difference. You can smell, see and taste it. 8 in our party no one got the same dish all raved about how good their dish was. Would enthusiastically recommend this place to friends."

  • "Business dinner to recognize a colleague. All of the food was exceptional, the waiter was personable and timely. We had an additional person show up to join us while the waiter was not at our table. The other waiters and staff seemed unresponsive as to how to accommodate us. I ended up just going out and grabbing another chair and squeezing it in. That was the only downside, everything else flowed well, the food was great. On previous visits I've had to wait beyond the reservation time, we were seated right on time on this visit."
