  • "This is a very good place to go to when you want to enjoy your night with food m drinks."

  • "I had wanted to go because it was a "hotspot" and looked like fun! I must say, the food was very good! I had the fried mac and cheese and the s'more crepes. The Lollipop Passion Goblet is not to be missed!! The martinis were strong and delicious!! We went early, like 11:30.. I would definitely suggest going at an "off" hour because it is small and can get crowded!"

  • "If you love sweets and unique drinks this place is for you! I came here the night before my birthday and was very much pleased. The only downside was that the noise level was a tad much and the tables were hugging one another so there's little privacy with your conversation. Nevertheless, I can't wait to go back for brunch & try their amazing sweettooth dishes paired with equally jaw-dropping drinks :)"

  • "We were so excited to go to the sugar factory. Unfortunately, the experience was horrible. The service was rude and they could not hear what we were asking (music was so loud and even the hostess said it was louder than usual). The food, especially dessert, came out stale. My kids were devastated, we had to take them out for a special dessert after. The fondue was not good and the pound cakes, red velvet cakes were dry and stale. The waiter was sarcastic and not attentive."

  • "The place was as small as can be.... Seated 3 ppl who HAD a reservation at a table for 2 ppl. We were crowded & uncomfortable. They would not accommodate us moving to an appropriate table. We had food spilled on us & wait staff bump into us many times. It wasn't fun. The fancy drink was fun & tahrs about it. Worth the $36 for a drink without alcohol?? No. Skip it."

  • "I expected the restaurant part of Sugar Factory to be a bit more classy. The music was way too loud and felt like a club more than a special occasion restaurant. The prices were too high for the type of restaurant it was. The food was fine but nothing special, except the french fries were yummy. Because it was so loud, your waiter couldn't actually talk to you. They came over, asked what you wanted, and then brought it to you- no relationship was made. My friends and I were planning this trip for weeks and I felt bad once I saw how the place actually was. From what I heard, it was a cute and classy place to go for a special occasion with a fun and tasty menu. It was none of the above. I will not be back."

  • "I was a little taken back by the restaurant itself. Much smaller than I thought and the downstairs was very hot and tight. Not at all what I expected. The website made it appear larger. I was there for lunch so I am not sure if there is an upstairs with more room but the downstairs and bar area did not impress me. We ate outside. The outside eating area was also tight but at least you could breath and the weather was perfect. My daughter and I shared 1 large beverage ($36), an appetizer, and an entrée. On the pricey side but worth every penny. I would definitely visit again."

  • "My boyfriend and I were finally able to dine at the Sugar Factory are trying to eat their two previous times. The first time it was closed for a private event and the second there was an hour wait even though I made a reservation. So we decided to go during lunch time since it would be less crowded. This time we were seated immediately and our server was unenthusiastic but all of the other workers were very friendly. The burger was great and so was the Mai tai fish bowl drink. The only downside is the place is very small so the tables are very close together which was pretty annoying. But if you can get past sitting on top of someone I would recommend this place."

  • "Although somewhat pricey, the food and drinks were spectacular and our server was phenomenal as well. Would definitely visit sugar factory if ever in NYC again!"

  • "The ONLY thing I didnt like was that its too little!!! My drink & my food couldnt fit on 1 table... I was squeezed in a little corner... The food was good and the drinkx were really good! I loved the buy one gobbler & get one half off...."

  • "It was my first time there and it was a great time! We waited for a table for awhile but... we decided to grab a goblet for each of us while we were waiting. The bartender was very entertaining and made our first time so fun! The drinks were amazing! Definitely will be making more trips here with my girls.. and I guess, guys too :)"

  • "While its crazy hard to get a reservation for four on a weekend unless you book way in advance, i loved the experience i had at the sugar factory. The food and drinks were tasty and fun. I loved the music and the energy. It is crazy crowded on weekends but the experience was fun and the energy was great."

  • "This is the second time I've been here with my girlfriends. This time I went in the evening, and the music was a little to loud for conversation. The martinis continued to be exceptional, and the food delicious. Try the baked bree! our waitress ignored us all night."

  • "Love the drinks. Great place to have celebration & hang out friends/ family. Only downside it's small & crowded plus had some issue tracking our waitress. I can't wait for bklyn store to open. But overall good restaurant."

  • "I had reservations and they still had my girlfriend and I wait on her birthday when we were 10 minutes early for an 8pm dinner. We didnt sit down until 840. Reservations required but I guess they make you wait anyway no matter what."
    Dined on 4/5/2014
  • "The food is just ok and really overpriced. The best part about the whole experience is the drink menu. I won't be returning our bill was over $200 and most the group had burgers and fries."
    Dined on 4/6/2014
  • "My experience wasn't so pleasant. We were seated in about 15 mins with a reservation, which was fine. But the table was in a really tight space considering I had my 2 kids with me. The waitress was rushing us to order because the kitsch was closing didn't even give us a few minutes to go through the menu.. The only thing I enjoyed was the goblet drink, besides that the good wasn't great at all & its Feinstein over priced. I'm so not looking forward to going again."

  • "The food, drinks and music are perfect! It's so hard to find that combination, but Sugar Factory does that and more."
    Dined on 4/6/2014
  • "Reservation do not mean anything to them. They will give away your reservation for people who haven't made one. The customer service is horrible. The food and drinks are amazing, but the sitting arrangement are extremely small"

  • "the food here is amazing! my group had an assortment of breakfast and lunch plates and it was all delicious. it took a while to get our drinks, so service was okay but not great. we made brunch reservations for a large group and they for some reason squeezed us into a corner section, where 4 of us had to squeeze onto a bench that would have sat 3 comfortably. so that made for a slightly uncomfortable and awkward situation when the food came. we asked the manager to help out by either adding another 2 top or just a chair, but he wasn't able to, nor did he move us to an area with more space (plenty was available), even after we let him know we were uncomfortable. he didn't seem to care. definitely go for the food because it's amazing."

  • "So the night started out annoying... We were a party of 5 and waiting for about half an hour while we stared at an empty table for 6. I asked the hostess if we could have that table and she told us we would get the next available. Other than that it was good. The drinks were good and so was the food. But if you go early (around 6-7ish) expect a lot of rich teens / preteens celebrating thier birthdays (they can get loud and annoying)."

  • "This place is POPULAR. On any given night there is a long wait even with a reservation. Don't dare go without a reservation. If they could develop a system that enables them to keep their reservation times, things would be perfect. Drinks and food are very good though. Once you wait you definitely enjoy the night."

  • "The food was actually quite good, but rubbing shoulders with the patron at the next table....well, just too too tight. Extremely noisy because the music volume was just too too loud. Service was actually miserable."
    Dined on 4/2/2014
  • "The lighting was pretty dim. Not really able to read the menu or see the pictures of the drinks and it's color."

  • "Very disappointed in the little bit it candy in the drinks and the amount of ice that comes in the cup. Ice was filled to the top. Very overcrowded, to capacity actually and they kept letting people in. Bartender was rude. Wouldn't recommend this spot to anyone. Too much ice and too little candy in the drink for it to be $36."

  • "The restaurant was a place to go a especially for a date with a beautiful person to enjoy the atmosphere. Plus the drinks are good & different than what I'm use to"
    Dined on 4/1/2014
  • "The only thing that i would be bothered about when it comes to my visit is the fact that even though i made my reservations almost 3 weeks prior they didn't accommodate that after sitting us at the front door that it was really cold & wouldn't move us into a different seating option. i certainly would reconsider when the weather is colder outside because they don't have the wind barrier that most respectable restaurants have."

  • "The location is very small the staff could not get pass and I kept having to adjust my seat for them to get pass to cramped and cluttered no organization very loud also can't really hear the person your with need brighter lights"

  • "This is the third time I've been here with a hyperactive 3 yr old so you already know it's a challenge to go anywhere, especially an eatery; but the staff is always great and gives my son a plastic cup with a straw for his water. They are usually about to get busy at the times we come, around 4:30/5:30, but are always accommodating with his carriage and fold it up for me and hold it so it's not in our way. They have the best drinks, shakes, desserts ever. Even their pancakes and burgers are bangin. This place blows away Max Brenners. They have the best music in there. I feel like I'm in a club. It makes me want to stay and order more."

  • "My coworkers and I have dinner once a month. So this month we picked this place. We were all really excited because we heard so much about it, but when we arrived our feelings began to change. We had a reservation and still had to wait 45 minutes at the already crowded bar. This place is so small and so crowded. It is so dark everyone in the restaurant used their phone as a flashlight to read the menu. The tables are so close to each other the waitress at the table next to us spilled a drink on my friend twice and never apologized. Our server Miguel was great but he brought us the check and we were still eating. As expensive as this place is you should feel comfortable while dining instead of feeling rushed out. I will never visit again."

  • "This was the worst club sandwich I have ever had. The airport concession stands have better food. The shake and the drink were acceptable. The place is very small and service was extremely slow."

  • "The food was amazing, I had the buffalo chicken sandwich & my boyfriend has the sugar factory club. The drink, passion punch, was incredibly delicious & I loved the dry ice effect. But, my only problem was low class people that were way too loud for no reason and music was way too loud for a restaurant setting. It seems as though they tried to fit as many possible people into such a small space, so you're sitting right on top of everyone else, which it makes it awkward and uncomfortable and impossible to walk through the small aisles. Waitress could barely get to their tables."
