Diner Reviews
  • "This place is amazing it's small but more comforting and intimate."

  • "Food was good not great. The milk shakes were awesome and the drinks were very good as well. The waiter was very distracted. Would barely come to our table and check on us and his service wasn't that good. Also it's very small inside. So if u don't make a reservation either sit outside or go for happy hour. I would go back just have a different waiter"

  • "My only issue is there was a fly flying around my table."

  • "My friend and I came for my 21st birthday dinner and were very impressed. The food was amazing and my red velvet martini was delicious. Our waiter was wonderful and very helpful. He made sure I got everything I wanted and couldn't have been nicer. I would definitely go back, and plan on bringing my sister very soon."

  • "We waiting over a half hour for a table. What is the point of having a reservation if I won't be seated at that time?!"

  • "Great vibes. Super fun and quirky. Can't wait to go again because all the drinks are totes snapchat worthy. Take a pic with the lollipop fishbowl because it'll for suresies be your next prof pic on fb."

  • "I ENJOYED MY TIME HERE. THE WAITER WAS THE NOT THE BEST AT HANDLING MULTIPLE TABLES BUT EVERYTHING ELSE WAS GREAT. THE PEACH GUMMI GOBLET DRINK IS AMAZING."

  • "Besides having to wait even though i had a reservation it was a great night. The environment is great and perfect to celebrate a birthday."

  • "I was dissapointed in my visit. Place is super small and you sit on top of others (but typical NYC dining so maybe that won't bother you). Had a great playlist but was SO loud that it was hard to talk to my friend. Service was really slow, didn't get our drinks til after our food arrived. My brunch was delicious but not special enough to try it again. Overall, not what it appears to be."

  • "So glad I made a reservation before going to the The Sugar Factory. If you don't have a reservation don't bother going unless you don't mind a 3 hour wait."

  • "I have heard so many great things about the Sugar Factory, and couldn't wait to go there myself. I have to say I was not disappointed at all. When I arrived the place was full of life and the atmosphere was really cool and energized. My friends and I were seated pretty quickly which I liked. Our waiter was very friendly and took our orders right away. The drinks are so delicious, I had the Mai Tai and the Berry Bliss and the food was also amazing! I had a great time and can't wait to go back again. This is definetly a place to visit if you love good food, drinks and just overall a nice chill atmosphere."

  • "The restaurant is located in a nice area and had a great chill vibe, I went during the afternoon so I missed the more energetic night crowd. The restaurant was smaller than I had expected and the tables were within close proximity to each other. I had the ocean blue goblet and it was amazing especially with it's cute smoking trick. My server seemed nice, though I do feel that he did not really put in too much effort. He could have been a bit more lively than the typical monotoned "may I take your order" that you'd expect at an AppleBee's. The food was okay but the portions were generous. I may visit again, but it would definitely be during the night."

  • "Visited Sugar Factory for brunch with a few girlfriends. We had such a good time. The food was good and the drinks were even better! I will be returning to try other things on the menu. There is so much to choose from. I ordered a waffle and had a Smores drink. So yummy!"

  • "Came here for an 11pm reservation with my best friend, we were seated quickly and the entire place was busy! We ordered way too much food but enjoyed everything. The lollipop drink was great! So fun our server even took a picture of us - how cute because I've been a server once and know that all the photos can get annoying. He did it with a smile. Every server was exceptionally nice. We also had a milkshake and a waffle with ice cream. all SOOOO delicious. Really fast service. Previous to being seated, we purchased lollipops in the front retail space. A person sitting near our table must've swiped it from us during the time we were seated!! Naturally, we were upset. The manager came over and let us select another lollipop. :) nice people."

  • "Excellent food. drinks were massive but too strong you couldn't really enjoy it. the service was great and everything came so quickly. it's much smaller than you would think. I would never go without reservations. it was too loud at times, made me think I was at a nightclub. I didn't think it was overpriced but my party thought it was way to expsndive. had a great birthday would love to go back"

  • "The place is a little small but the drink options are so much fun and tasty. Loved the chocolate martinis. Definitely not for anyone on a diet."

  • "The food and drinks are really good. The only complaint I have is that our waiter was not as attentive and took a long time to take our orders."

  • "2 smoking sweet goblets and lovely chocolate fondue for 4 teens and mom. Superfun. Love to go back and have them in alcoholic form!"

  • "We had lunch for my daughters 12th birthday. The food was excellent. Our waitress was also really great. The place is pretty small soo you would need reservations a few weeks ahead for a large party for dinner."

  • "One of the best places ever. Big cocktails get you drunk fast. Everything is incredible."

  • "I made reservations at this restaurant because I heard great reviews on it. So I figured what better place to celebrate my birthday. Once we got there we waited over an hour to be seated and once we were seated we waited over an hour to receive our food because our ticket got lost. This was definitely not the best experience & I would definitely never recommend the sugar factory to anyone."

  • "This place is amazing. They have a Large selection of great tasting food. The alcoholic drinks all look so delicious, fun and taste great. I am definitely coming back and I recommend everyone try this place. Atmosphere is loud but they play good music. (I went later in the day for dinner). All around nice place to go."

  • "The reviews were inconsistent, but I had to see for myself because the place seemed so interesting. Glad I finally checked it out, but wouldn't make a point to go back. Food was just OK and the tables are way to close together. It also took a long time to get seated even though we had a reservation. I admit that I didn't order one of the crazy $36 fishbowl cocktails that every other person in the place seemed to have. Maybe that would have made the experience a little more fun. I did order two normal sized cocktail, neither which were very good."

  • "Great food...but the restaurant was tightly seated and very hot. I'm not sure there was A/C. Waiter was not very attentive. We had to wait 20 minutes, despite our reservations."

  • "The drinks were amazing, our waiter was not only good looking with the cutest accent but was attentive and willing to take out pics without any issues. The food was well made and satisfying, I know I will def recommend this place to others."

  • "A unique place to dine and have some enchanting drinks. Came for brunch and had the Sugar Factory Eggs Benedict. It was very good, just the price was a little much. Our server was very polite and accommodating. My girlfriend had the vegetarian omelette, which was good also. Afterwards, we tried the signature goblet drinks after seeing the spectacle of the drinks being poured and smoking over like a witch's cauldron at another table. At $36 each, they were rather pricey. I had the Mai Tai, which apparently was the strongest and it did not disappoint. My girlfriend had the lollipop one. Both were tasty, but very sugary. Not recommending them if your diabetic! Overall, it was a pleasant dinning and drinks experience."

  • "I had dinner here for my birthday. It was awesome!! The lollipop passion goblet was so yummy as well as the Mac & Cheese pops for an appetizer and the tuna melt and fries were good as well. Since it was by birthday when I got the carrot cake there was a huge sparkler on top and all the waiters sung Happy Birthday. I had an awesome time and would go back."

  • "I loved it, the food was good, the drinks were good, the only thing - I guess because its a very small place and it was packed the service wasn't that good but I would still return."

  • "I took my 8 year old daughter and 12 year old niece to an early dinner on a Monday. Our reservation was for 6:30 but we waited for a 1/2 hour and there really was no place to "hang out" for those under 21 yrs old. The girls were excited to order a virgin specialty drink and decided on the "shark attack." They loved it but after a while, became so overwhelmed by the loud music and inability to hear one another/express themselves that they wanted to leave. They even decided they wanted to go somewhere else for dessert. The idea of the Sugar Factory looks like a lot of fun for kids on paper/in pictures with the candy bins, specialty lollipops, etc. but the tables are crammed together and it is so loud that I wouldn't recommend for under 12"

  • "The drinks are ridiculously expensive, but it was great for the experience of it all. My wife and I shared a berry goblet, which was good and plenty big to share. We had the fried Mac & cheese balls and chicken tenders, and both were very tasty. Our waiter was a little slow, but I suppose that's better than feeling rushed to turn over the table. Speaking of tables...they are very close to one another, although this did not bother me personally. It's not a big place, so make your reservations!"

  • "This is the second time going to the Sugar Factory. The food was amazing both times. As for the Drinks Even more amazing I love coming to the sugar factory. Only down side is the place is two small and the wait is terrible you have to make sure u make a resveration two months before, and still wait when you get there but when you finally get seated you forget all of that cause you enjoy yourself so much."

  • "It was a blast. The only negative I have to say is that I had booked a reservation and came 10 minutes before to check in but my party and I still had to wait about 30 minutes, wasn't too happy about that but once we were seated we had a blast! Such a great atmosphere and great drinks!!!!"

  • "Came here for some 21st birthday drinks! We had the lemon drop and the jolly rancher. The jolly rancher really tastes like a jolly rancher which was cool. The drinks were a little strong but were still tasty. The fettuccine was very good. Probably the best thing we had besides the delicious fries. The place is small and there's not a lot of lighting. We also saw Steevie Jay and Joceline as we were walking out. Must check out the spot."
