  • "We had a great time. We were there got my bday dinner had a wonderful and prompt waitress. My food was perfect to my satisfaction. I will return to dine here again."

  • "I took my husband to a birthday dinner with my daughter and her family. We were seated immediately. However, we did get any service for 5 minutes. Then we finally got water, but no server yet. About 10 min later finally, the server came and made excuses for there not being enough help. Our order was taken. We waited 40 minutes. And when then food arrived it was served to one person, then we waited and another dish came out and waited and so on, it took five times for the server to bring the food. Maybe it was an off night, but it was not an experience I would want to repeat."

  • "Our service was poor, had to wait a long time for our app. We never seen our waiter, just the bus boy, who pretty much handled everything at our table. Order cake and pie slices and had to wait about 30 mins until we were served. Wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. Over priced for average food."

  • "There were 4 people in our party and we all ordered different things. My husband had the Prime Ribe and said it was the best he'd every had. Our friends had Filet and Prawns stuffed with Crab and had the same comment. I ordered the Salmon and it was outstanding. The service was excellent also. Will return again."

  • "I took my boyfriend to Suede Blue for his birthday. Food was good; his rib eye was perfectly cooked and very tender. My sea bass was covered in a sweet sauce that totally overwhelmed the taste of the fish, although it was perfectly cooked and a substantial portion. After I ordered a glass of wine, the waiter never asked my boyfriend if he wanted anything to drink. I had to prompt the waiter that boyfriend would like a coke. I put comments on my reservation that this was a birthday celebration believing that the restaurant would be aware and perhaps acknowledged this occasion. We did order dessert, but waiter never mentioned the birthday."

  • "Unfortunately it was a complete diappointment. Service was horriable. My husband sat with his plate in front of him for 15 min while they forgot me food. An all around back experience. Do not go here if you want a relaxing date night."

  • "Crusted salmon was excellent. Our server was courteous and knowledgeable. Tables had clean white linen and private booths. No bread was served."

  • "Suede Blue is meant for small groups. We had a group of six and they only had accomidations for 2, 4 and 8. It was a bit awkward but we managed. The manager and waiter were superb! Food was excellent although the shrimp bisque was more of a gravy that bisque. Everyone who had steak enjoyed their dinners and those of us with fish thoroughly enjoyed ours. Ambiance was attractive and inviting."

  • "Our expectations were for a romantic dinner for two, a fine bottle of wine, steak and seafood. What we got was a wine list that was out-of-date; of the three bottles selected, none were the vintage listed on the list; a ’09 Cab was requested, and a ’11 was brought to the table (twice). The front end of the restaurant was very young and inexperienced, but very willing to please. During our dinner, four wait staff proceeded to build a table for 10 in the middle of the dinner area, and set a noisy group of eight in the middle of the room; an area where 6 couples were dinning peacefully; unforgivable. The food was excellent and very professionally prepared, but again the experience was deflated by the lack of luster wait staff reaching over the"

  • "Considering that Valentine's day was the night before our reservation and the restaurant was out of a couple of things, the staff handled that beautifully. We had a lovely appi, wonderful entree's and great drinks. We were very happy with the service, the staff is very warm and inviting. The food was not only pretty to look at but delish!"

  • "This was supposed to be a nice Valentine Celebration was disastrous! The service was totally lacking. This is Valentine Day, you need to figure out that it is going to be busy!!! Our waiter was ridiculously unable to handle just basic stuff. No bread, salad arrived with the meal and water glasses left unfilled. I saw the restaurant manager come into our dinner room and deal with two tables that were not happy and I can see why. I should have asked for him too. The food was decent, but the service ruined the entire experience. This restaurant is $$$, but the service is not on par. I cannot reccommend."

  • "Nice space but disappointing meal. Deconstructed wedge salad was uninspired and looked like it was plated by a five year old. Steaks were not seasoned and peppercorn sauce lacked flavor. Au gratin potatoes were Way too cheesy and the Hollandaise on the asparagus was broken, all sign of a lazy or unsupervised kitchen staff. Dessert was cold on inside, burned on outside, again a sign of kitchen staff that doesn't care."

  • "This is not a restaurant that I would recommend for a special occasion. For this instance, Valentines Day, the restaurant was not prepared for the volume that Valentines Day brings to a restaurant. The service was very disjointed. We were offered a choice of a prefix menu or ordering off the regular menu. We ordered the Prefix menu. One of us ordered Salmon and one ordered the Filet. Each meal was accompanied with a salad. There was a long delay before we saw our server again and before he could return to the table we were presented with our entree. We rejected the entree because we had not been served our salads. We asked that the entrees not be held under a heat source until we were ready for them. That is exactly what happened."

  • "Only two sets of silverware for 4, No salt and pepper, did not know what winery wines listed on their menu came from, served baked potato with no sour cream (though ordered). Served Steak with no steak sauce. Never came to ask how it was, or if we needed anything. We had to flag them down . Sent steak to pack in a doggy bag and it was never returned to the table. Allowed empty drinks and water glasses to sit for a long time. Dessert menu came with "we're out of the two best things on the menu". Took way too long to bring food. Even after the manager was notified, they never even tried to offer a comp to try to make it right. It was like it was no big deal. The staff at this place needs some serious customer service training."

  • "Terrible hostess service - FIRST IMPRESSIONS ARE SOOO IMPORTANT - ended up with my wife and I leaving the restaurant without even trying the food. MAnager was apologetic, but there is no way I would ever give this restaurant another chance to disappoint me again, no chance of going back period. Fortunately, High Steaks at Thunder Valley came to the rescue and our first Valentines Day as a married couple was not ruined!"

  • "What a calamity!! No one knows what's going on....we never got our appetizer after waiting over an hour - we Never got our salad after waiting an hour..(no bread either)..then finally our dinner arrived. Of course, when we ordered we told the waitress that we would like to enjoy our salad before our entree was brought out --- she said that was no problem. Then she came to the table to ask how our dinner was. She was completely oblivious to the fact that we had not been served our salad!! It was unbelievable....we told her how disappointed we were in the service. So here comes the manager. He makes so many excuses..told us the service was bad because they are college students not career people.BOTTOM LINE -DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!!!"

  • "30 minutes to get 1 glass of wine and a gin and tonic in the bar. GM had little to no personality, with no greeting as he finally took our bar order. Server in dining room was attentive but also lacked enthusiasm that I saw in other servers. Food was good, but I would rather spend a little bit more and enjoy Ruth's Chris. Interior of restaurant needs some upkeep work done. Multiple lights out in chandeliers, paint chipped on corners, grease/dirt stains on walls in dining area. They even took a light cover from one of the lamps at the table and used it to replace a broken (totally different design) glass cover on one of the chandeliers. Polar oppsisite when compared to Crush 29 (same group)."

  • "Prime Rib was ordered medium, came out rare. Returned to kitchen came out medium rare. Meat was tough and not too much flavor. I had the Filet pasta, pasta filet ordered medium rare, and it was well done..... Wedge salad was good, service was good, food was just not that great."

  • "This was our first time to Suede Blue. We were having dinner with some family to celebrate my husband's birthday. I reviewed the menus a head of time and they had a nice selection of entrees and I made a reservation. We were seated right away and our waiter came right over with menus and to introduce himself. The waiter was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. The portions were larger than almost all of the higher end restaurants we've been to and everything was wonderful. Everything about the experience was above my expectations! I would highly recommend this place...this is my new favorite restaurant!"

  • "Made reservations for a birthday lunch on New Year's Eve - figured we would at least be greeted with "happy birthday". Waiter was quiet, not too friendly, not too attentive (tea glass unfilled for over 20 mins., no bread offered - had to ask after seeing another table get bread up front, had to ask for water refills), just a very strange dining experience. Another table was seated right next to our party, and the place was empty. Their female waitress was way more cheery, helpful, etc. Not even "a birthday dessert" was offered or a mention of a birthday! When asked if we wanted dessert - we just wanted "out of there!""

  • "My girlfriend and I ate dinner at Suede Blue last night and it was great! This was our third time there and the staff is always so pleasant and professional. The food was phenomenal! Yes, this restaurant is on the pricy side but, you get what you pay for, essentially. My favorite dish is the Crab Stuffed Prawns and if you book your reservation using Open Table you earn 100 points once you check-in! They have a great bar, outdoor patio seating complete with fireplace, and even a room for private dining that seats up to 65 people. Also, there are more fireplaces inside the dining area of the restaurant. This is a great restaurant for special occasions. We will definitely be returning to Suede Blue on a regular basis."

  • "We were at this restaurant on New Years Eve 2014 for the first time. It was crowded as expected on New Years. We had reservations and the wait was not to long. The hostess was very nice as was our waiter. The menu was not the same as we saw on the computer when we booked the restaurant no lobster as advertised no cream spinach out of several deserts even though we were there early 6'30 pm. I ordered Prime Rib center cut and my wife the filet. She wanted her meat blood rare,it was served medium well. She order another steak to replace that one, this and my Prime Rib was a major disappointment, as both cuts of meat were tough and full of gristle. As I said this was our first time at this establishment and I we were very disappointed."

  • "Appetizers, salads, and side dishes were all good. Main entrée was just okay. Filet was a little over cooked, as was my wife's halibut. Everything else was good (side dishes, salads, etc.). Service was good. For the price I would have expected better."

  • "My assumption is that on a normal day, the restaurant would do a good job. Unfortunately, they seemed to have overbooked New Year's eve. It was a zoo! The server tried to do a good job, but was overwhelmed. The fish that my wife ordered was bad and had to be sent back. We did get credit for the her meal, but a manager never came to the table to apologize for the problem. Over all, not a good night. We will probably make another attempt on a more normal evening."

  • "I made a reservation for New Years Eve for 7:00 PM, our party of 4 was not seated until 7:30, they had a 2 piece band in the lobby, very loud music, we were stuck in the lobby for 30 minutes and could not have a conversation because of the level of the music. Service was good considering how busy the restaurant was, but when I asked for some au juice for my prime rib, it never came, prime rib serviced without au juice??? Never heard of that, my potatoes were warm but not hot, very dry, our friends fish both the Sea Bass and the Salmon dishes were over cooked and dry. I have been to Suede Blue before and have had a few great experiences, so lesson to be learned, don't go when there is a holiday and they are busy... Dave"

  • "We arrived 30 minutes prior to our reservation and were seated 45 minutes after our reservation. The restaurant offered a fixed, four course meal. We selected the fixed meal, with the main course of a Filet and Scallops. We were told that they were out of Filets . After negotiations with the waiter and the kitchen, we agreed to a New York Steak, in place of the Fillet. The appetizer course was acceptable. The second course was a salad and I had selected the Caesar. However they brought me something else and I was told that they were out of the Caesar Salad. When they brought the main course, they brought Filets , without Scallops (not the New York Steaks). The Filets were cold, dry and not medium-rare and the mashed potatoes were cold."
