  • "Hits and misses here. Based on their reputation, I was expecting a lot...and what we got was good, but not spectacular. The decor was outstanding, and while the food was very fresh, much of it was bland and uninspiring. The Frito Misto appetizer was excellent, as was the Coconut Cake. Chopped and Caesar Salads were tiny and very ordinary, the Spinach and Chickpea Soup was awful (tasted like water). Lasagna was fresh but very bland, the Piccata was rubbery but did have an outstanding sauce. Our Server wasn't rude but was indifferent and not engaging at all. Overall, we were left w/ the impression of a place we'll try again in a year or so, but we're not running back. Rated "Fair" because of the price, otherwise I'd say "Good.""

  • "We've been coming here for a very long time and have unfortunately noticed a steady decline in both food quality and service. Our food came cold-ish making it "stiff" and the waitress was pretty poor. I normally tip >18% everywhere, but decided to give her 15%. I noticed her shake her head in disbelief as she walked away from the table checking out her tip. Won't be going back for a l-o-n-g while. It's a shame b/c they were truly one of the best (if not the best) vegetarian friendly restaurant in South Florida... and totally vegan to boot."

  • "I brought my best friend here for his birthday, as he usually can only order a veggie burger or pizza when we eat out. As two people, we ate for four. Everything was delicious! We even ordered the apple pie on a whim (we don't like apple pie), and it was so yummy. The service was great. Really attentive and really nice. We will definitely be returning."

My only complaint (and it's not even a complaint,more of a personal preference) is that they had no almond milk, only soy. But no worries because the tiramisu martini totally made up for it!"

  • "I live in Oklahoma and came to Ft. Lauderdale on vacation. I found this restaurant thru a through a search and I'm so glad I did. I'd give anything to have one of these back home! Appetizers were terrific, entrees were very filling and the service was 5 star and then some. We got the absolutely amazing coconut cake and a coffee cocktail to top off an awesome experience. Both of us left stuffed and plan to go back before our departure!!"

  • "I personally eat a lot of meat, but I decided to go here with my date, whose is vegetarian. We had the Macaroni & Cheese as an appetizer and I had the vegetable lasagne. I would tell you what my date had, but my I was too busy eating my lasagne because it was so good. Don't think you'll miss eating meat with this kind of menu; at least not for one night anyway."

  • "I love steaks, poultry and seafood. But recently, I had 2 business associates visit from Taiwan, who requested vegetarian food for our outing to dinner. What to do? So after a Google search, I found Sublime which had excellent reviews. I thought that these customers must love a piece of tofu with a celery stick stuck in it, but was I wrong. We started off with beer that was vegan and tasted fine. We then had their famous pretzel sticks which came with humus, mustard, and chopped onion spread; delicious. I then had the stuffed mushroom ravioli which wasn't a huge portion, but was it tasty. Very flavorful. We each got different deserts. I opted for the Coconut Cake and it was again, delicious. I am planning on taking my family there!"

  • "My meat eating boyfriend & vegetarian self went to this restaurant for our anniversary & we loved it. We plan on returning every year. He had Mac& Cheese (he loved it) & sublime picatta (not so much.. But it was really good!!!) while I devoured a Caesar salad (didn't bring a lot of dressing so all for extra on the side of you'd like but it was perfect for my taste buds. The croutons were not very crunchy, eh. The tasty lemony dressing really makes up for that. The lettuce is nice and green too, very fresh. The mushroom ravioli was incredible. The pasta is a bit chewy and the filling is creamy. I honestly can't describe the flavor, but I can say it exceeded my high expectations. We shared a delicious chocolate nirvana, his favorite part."

  • "Took my mom here a couple of years ago for a nice alternative dinner (she is not vegan), and she loved it! Now we go every time she visits my area. The food is always good quality and well prepared. Drinks are good, and coconut cake is awesome! The service is always good. Nancy, the owner, makes it a point to visit every table to make sure everyone is having a great experience. I live close to Sublime, and have never had a bad experience! I love that proceeds go to animal rights. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a great dining experience. I feel very fortunate to live so close to such a amazing restaurant."

  • "My husband tried Sublime for the first time on Thursday, July 3rd. The restaurant has a very nice decor with a serene atmosphere. The host was extremely courteous with a warm personality. We ordered cocktails and my watermelon martini was a little too strong for my liking. Michael was very accommodating and suggested that the remake it by adding some more sour mix and not so much alcohol. The 2nd attempt was perfect! I had the raw mein and my husband had the Thai curry. We enjoyed both dishes but saved some room for their coconut cake which was delicious! We highly recommend Sublime to vegetarians and non-vegetarians looking for something different. Only downside is that its not close to home but definitely worth the drive."

  • "Party of 5 dine in on 7/3/2014 Good Points: Host was very friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Appetizers were generally done well. Ordered: Soft Pretzel (very good) Cauliflower (very good) Tuscan Flatbread (not good, the bread is very thin and was slightly burned. Ended up being a cracker than bread. Areas for Improvements: Entrees are mediocre and over priced. Ordered: Black Bean Burger - sadly the best part was the bun. Burger was rather bland. Veggie Lasagna - marinara sauce was mediocre, lots of veggies, not greasy at all, but very little cheese was in it (ricotta or mozzarella) Risotto Cake x 2 - bland Thai Veggie Curry - bland * Waiter was a bit standoff-ish Conclusion: Overpriced for Quality Received"

The macaroni/cheese was stiff, the pesto polenta dry, and the portabella entre was unappealing. I very much liked the mushroom ravioli with great pasta and fine, buttery sauce. I can't imagine a return."

  • "This was my first time (other than Vegan Pizza) eating strictly Vegan food. I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. I had quite a few different items on the menu, each having its pwm distinct flavor. My feeling of "it can't be that bad" had slowly changed after each dish to a feeling that I can see myself in the future craving certain items on the menu. It was a very refreshing change, and we will definitely dine at Sublime in the future."
